I think I found her father, Thomas Gemelli, born on June 18, 1947, in Winthrop MA. He was a retired former US Airforce personnel, 75 years old from Waltham MA. He has served in Vietnam. If this is the same person, unfortunately, there is a piece of sad news, Tom died the Monday, November 21, 2022

Update: This is a confirmed identity, her father Thomas got remarried on June 1, 1973. He has 3 children, which means Marry Anne has 3 younger half-brothers and sisters. Hope that helps...

Hello Ma'am... I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me... If he was my father, it breaks my heart right at this very moment, I am crying my heart out. I thought I still have a chance to see him. I hope I still have relatives and that they will see this video. I honestly don't want anything else but to see him, even just in pictures. When he came back this lovely British lady followed him and never left him. She cooked better dinuguan, pancit, igado than any of us Filipinos. Now my own kid is assigned in Europe by the border of Ukraine. Learning lessons from all these stories, I told him to be a good Kid and stop monkey around on those local women because it's the Kids that's affected and suffer. I feel for you Maryanne you have a very good voice and talent. Your English is excellent and way better than any of us. I would suggest you go to the US 🇺🇸embassy there and asked for help to connect with your family. She's not after the money or benefit. I can see her sincerity. She wants to know and meet her father sad to hear he was gone before she met him. You're in a better place right now Maryanne. Stay strong and God bless. I will be the first one to knock the head of my kid if he do this. Filipinos are family oriented and devoted catholics like Italian. This is a reminder of how blessed I am. I’m half Filipina, born in Olongapo. It didn’t work out between my birth father and my mother so we were alone with our extended family for about a year. She met another American, we immigrated to America, and I was adopted by him when they got married. He is an AWESOME father. What about my birth father? He is just as awesome because he never stopped being in contact with me. I’m so glad Mary Anne had a happy ending like me. My cousin who is half, still hasn’t met her American father and she’s about the same age as Mary Anne.

Hey Blair. I just found that woman's biological father Thomas Gemelli just passed away Nov 2022 but he has a son who has the same name but its a jr. Thomas Gemelli resided in Waltham Massachusets and also where he died. I hope this is helpful.

RIP, Thomas. That was just last month. Too bad they didn't have a chance to connect one last time. But sometimes this is all for the better. I reconnected with the father who abandoned me and let's just say here that I'm just glad I didn't grow up with him. I got lucky. And even if I wasn't sure that he would accept me... I just wanted him to know that he had a daughter here in the Philippines... Life may not be perfect for me, but I love it and I am very grateful that God has given me this chance and for making my parents the instruments in bringing me out into this world... I did look at it from your perspective when I desperately wanted to connect with my parents (both mother and father abandoned me) but after suffering from verbal and near physical abuse from my father later in a father-son reunion and my mother not petitioning me to join her in another country, I had to fend for myself and accept my fate. Abandonment turned out to be good for me, it made me a stronger person, empathetic and always caring for other people, a determined high achiever...If you don't get to connect with your family in the States, I am sure you will still be fine, having survived all this time without them. Self-realization gives us strength. Happy new year!

Mary Anne's father most likely this person. Thomas Gemilli, Air Force veteran. Served in Vietnam. He was around South East Asia around the time Mary Anne was born (1973). More than likely Vietnam vets start and are based in the Philippines and do tours to Vietnam. This is the closest you can get to the father of Mary Anne. Sadly he died few a couple of months ago on November 21, 2022. He was 75.

Someone already reported that a certain Thomas Gemelli who was in the US Air Force and served in Vietnam passed away last Nov. 21, 2022. He could be her dad because of his age when he died which was 75. Sorry to bring you this sad news. Back in the days, Naga was not yet a city, now it's progressive and very nice...Used to be one dusty town because of Tinaan and stinky because of pig farms along the highway. Now it has changed for the better. I would love to visit Naga city on our way to Carcar city one of these days...Of course I've only been back on the island twice since I left there in 1983. I will visit again perhaps next year.

a old shipmate that had a child and didn't know it in Philippines..she found him through genealogy research...she was born in subic bay....long story short she is a anesthesiologist in a major hospital in California...and he is very happy and proud of her

@@LeahandBlair True story her story was rough, but it worked out because she never gave up. A lot of Filipinos give and resigned themselves to Filipinos life, but she wanted more and took chances after her mother abandoned her. Genealogy led to my shipmates family his brother. But his brother was never in the Philippines, but his my shipmate had been. They did a test and in a month the test proved he was the father. She came to the U.S. after being a nurse aid in a Philippines hospital on a work program under then President Obama made available. Under Trump that program was terminated. She had made the best of that time with college and overtime to her current position. She is making close to a $100,000 a year. Yet she is blessed to know her father and to her future. I have another story coming in a few days..USS Bennington. Father returned back to the states end of 68, he was married to his Filipina and he had even got Passports and affidavits for immigration..then she changed address here in the Philippines and they lost contact!!!

Why would she do that knowing what was about to happen...and 68 that is a lot of time....but the internet has been bringing gaps in everyone's life....side note: Something I recently found out in a documentary that Gary Ridgeway the Green River serial killer was stationed in Subic Bay...I was first in Subic in 1982 and they spoke of finding dead Filipina women there. But he was there between 78 and 82. He killed over 90 women in the U.S. I doubt he just started in the United States
