I haven't seen the ending yet, so this is still just speculation, but here are my guesses - Freeman seems intentionally too obvious of a choice, so I think there's going to be either Barney, G-man or something completely different inside. Maybe even Dr. Breen or Kleiner, but those don't seem to fit the definition of a "superweapon". And if you already happen to know what's there, please, no spoiling.

*SPOILER* Am I the only one who saw it as obvious that it had to be G-Man in the vault after you hear the woman talk to the advisor? :P It couldn’t have been Gordon. We know that he was in stasis away from earth, and nothing up until now has indicated that G-Man is allied with the combine in any way, so there’s no reason why the combine would lock away and protect one of his investments (ie Gordon) they’d just kill him.

I specifically did hard right from the get go. Took 17 hours to finish. A lot less ammo, and enemies take more damage. Those bugs take about 3 or 4 shots per leg on hard.

Bruh hard isn’t hard at all if you take cover. It’s annoying though because a lot of things take a lot of bullets.

@@albinodino5050 Yeah the lower damage per second is mainly what I mean. But also sometimes the combine have insane aimbot and you can just have your hand sticking out of the cover and one blasts you in it within a milisecond. So it's way harder to go through the whole game without dying.
