Imagine if it had been Puresteel Paladin instead of Sram. Puresteel triggers when equipment ETBs rather than when it is cast. So the Axes end up drawing you a ton of cards.

Alex - have you considered the “For Mirrodin!” equipments for your deck? They only make one token but some of them are real bangers and are non-creature thingies that make tokens!

1. Hexplate Wallbreaker gives extra combats to your token army! 2. Dragonwing Glider gives flying and haste! 3. Bladehold War-Whip comes down early, gives double strike, and reduce the equip costs of other equipments you have!

I had my Ardenn and Rograkh go crazy like Balaan. I was able to get bloodforged out with a mithril plate and artifact protection. I proceeded to steamroll the playgroup in the same way. I doubt I'll ever see it go off like that again.

Both Balan's ability and Armored Skyhunter lack targeting. So the boots don't mess Eliot up at all.

21:48 Your Hero's Heirloom will NOT attach to Balan from the Armored Skyhunter ability, because she has Shroud. You would need to use Brass Squire to move the Greaves off off her BEFORE the Skyhunter Ability resolves. ...or... Activate Balan's ability to magnet everything to her :)

Since the Armored Skyhunter's ability doesn't actually target a creature, he's able to equip it even though she has shroud.
