For the price drop it is a steal. Umbelievable good built quality. Best part to me are the supro pickups. So much clarity and warmth paired together. Love them more than all the Dimarzios and Seymours i played.

Just picked up a Slate Blue for 450 US brand new. Also from Brooklyn. I own 42 guitars and this one shocked me at how great it sounds. It has been years since I was blown away by a guitar. Feels great to play. As far as letting the guitar adjust to different temperatures: When I was young I would warm up the car if it was cold outside. Turn on the air in the summer well before transporting. Then I toured across the country for 15 years and discovered how resilient guitars are. Touring puts a beating on instruments. Freezing cold to hot stage lights. Stranded in snowstorms. Air going out in touring van etc. Humidity changing constantly. I have never had a problem opening guitars after waiting an hour or two. But if you have the willpower it can't hurt. About 2 hours is my limit. I really like the D'Angelico and Hagstrom hollow and semi-hollow guitars. They both do it right!!!

I just picked this up on a whim for 375 barely used. Looked brand new. Absolutely shocked at how well it sounds. I have quite a few guitars and I find this one to be the most comfortable to play and most versatile. The pickups sound great

Why are these guitars cheap all of a sudden from being of 1000 to being cheaper than their premier series? They are great guitars but it just confuses me, makes me wonder weather they were worth the original price they were sold at.

From what I have been able to tell, and I could be wrong but I purchased one of these and it is a nice guitar, but apparently the issue that caused the price drop is basically they're imports from South Korea, which for some reason made them less desirable, and they made too many of them. So they want to clear out the stock for whatever reason. They are, for the discounted price, very nice guitars. maybe not worth the original 1400 some odd USD but definitely a solid 1k guitar, so a steal at 700. I spent a solid week researching the guitar before I purchased it and I could not find a serious complaint except maybe the pickups are a little hotter than some would like, and some minor complaints like maybe the frets need to polished and things like that. From all my research I couldn't find a single person saying "These guitars are a scam" or "Watch out for this seemingly good deal that isn't" its all been fairly positive.
