Little trick for you on diff lock side with half shafts mate, engage the difflock before removal of the half shaft and it will stay up and engaged into the diff centre and not drop 👍..... enjoy the vids here in Australia mate

@@Professional-struggler That works fine but for belt and braces shove a broom handle up the hole since an air leak will let it drop. At least that means once you have air you can wiggle it.

Yes it will disengage if left and air drops overnight, but as said build air next day if that's the case lift the dog collar up and get another set of hands to re engage, then its all sorted again

Little tip for the ivecos. Build the air up and use a brush handle to lift the diff lock up and get someone with the ignition on to engage the diff lock and it will stay there 👍 and just a heads up iveco chambers are handed

Top Job Chris, you need to feed the dog, doesn’t move much 😂😂…. Trick I use for the diff lock is build the air up, shove a broom handle down and lift up the diff lock, then in the cab put in diff lock 👌 slide the shaft straight in 👍

Best thing for stopping smoking is a drug called Champix, most drs don't prescribe it anymore but you can get it through a NHS stop smoking advisor. Takes the cravings away so you don't want to smoke anymore. Worth looking into x

hi Chris one of your viewers suggested putting in diff lock before removal which works on some trucks tou can also remove the switch and run a bolt in to lock it in position . good vid keep up the struggling .

Hi mate, great vid, putting that halfshaft back on diff lock side if you get a sweeping brush and push the wooden shank up the axle tube and lift the diff lock fork and line it up with the shaft then get someone to stick the diff lock switch in then its held, pull out brush and shaft will slip straight on in there, hope this makes sense lol

It does as Ken…. Reminds me of a snapped halfshaft I had once on a Scania I was able to slide some plastic guttering pipe down one end and then push the broken piece out from the other 😁 saved me a job and the customer was well chuffed back on the road in no time 😀! Thanks for that Ken 👍👍
