I like what you're doing I like watching you fabricate things that you need to have done instead of ordering a piece of what you want so you make them and that's pretty cool that's what you call fabrication anybody can well but it takes a good welder to fabricate and make things work enjoy what you do have a great day man
@edwinbonnelljr15872 жыл бұрын
For what you mean man I think it's pretty cool thank you very much for what you do on your program my dad and I we both learned how to fabricate stuff and made everything that you needed by hand just like you do have a great day man thank you

Every time I see your home made CNC machine, I smile. You are right, the headlights look better a wider out, and, that was a great idea for the turn signal lights... creative, inexpensive and unique.
@papeep26942 жыл бұрын
You have to love what you do. Knowing that this one ends up going down the road you still took the time to put art into those shock and bucket mounts. Could have been pieces of angle iron but you turned on the magic and created. That only happens with someone that loves what they do. That extra inch or two to widen the buckets really made the front come together.

Hi Brent I would have you 'sing shock bracket for head lights bridge over your backet from chassis up over the shock eye and continue out to mount headlight in current location hiding the top shock mount in the process if that makes sense, great build.

Hey Brent, I don't know if you happen to have ant rusty metal around but lets just assume that you do, Wash any grease off if it and then take some cement stripper on it.... just brush it on and let it set overnight.. okay?? Next day you can hose it off an your going to have a "happy" surprise waiting for you, all clean of rust metal that will eat rust right into the pits of it. I just did it on some of my frame on my old crappy ford and the metal looked new. Not shiny but black metal that you once wash it all off, you do have to wash it off anyway to see what happened. Just hose it and then you can make the determination if your going to paint over that metal or not as its now protected for rusting again for a good year. This is a game changer on those old frames that you use for making a new ride for the road. No matter, you can do it to anything thats metal. Hope this little tidbit helps ya do something in the future... nice going on this one so far

Great video Brent. Just wanted to let you know, that they do make shock extensions, I had them on my 1st Gasser back in 1981. It was a poor man's Gasser, with 4" ball joint spacers, station wagon springs and shock extensions. I bought them at autozone, which at the time was called either Auto Palace or ADAP. If memory serves me correctly, they were made by Transdapt (?) I don't know if you can still buy them at autozone, but you can probably get them on Ebay. They had a female end that threaded onto your existing male end and then gave you a new male end that was about 4" longer. If you can't find them, or don't want to wait for them, I'm sure it is something that someone with your skills could make. btw. It is Paint Over Rust 15 (POR 15) no idea what the 15 stands for. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the next one
