Thank you for exposing this creep. This is the kind of guy who makes life all the more tougher for honest contractors who actually need a deposit to buy materials to get started.As well as furthering a stereotype that contractors are not trustworthy.

Just to let you know, general contractors have written their own epitaph on that one. I'm sure there are honest contractors in the world, but finding one is like finding a unicorn.

I had a similar experience for a deck build several years ago with a different guy. Bought half the materials and paid half up front. Ended up firing him and finishing the deck myself. These people give the honest contractors a bad reputation and the whole industry a black eye. Arrest, prosecution and jail time is too good for these clowns. They should lose their licenses as well.

Does that mean that POS looses his bond for assault? That was so perfect! These types of people deserve to never get out. All they do is rob people.
@maryrobinson41312 жыл бұрын
Arrested while out on bond? Yes, $50,000.00 bond "🤣revoked🤣".. Plus new charge for assault.. Who ever he convinced to pay his bond can start coming up with his bond again to lose that as well.. Maybe he used his house as collateral to bond out.. In which case the property should be sold and all victims reimbursed for their losses plus a little interest.. Now that would be true karma.. His ripping off homeowners should cost him his home to pay them back.. Now that would be True Justice..

@@maryrobinson4131 not how it works in Michigan, it all depends on what the Judge set down in the "terms" of the Bond/Bail many folks are rearrested all the time & never lose their Bond/Bail money... normally because they are not rearrested for the same crime - or a Felony

We don’t have licenses for building workers in England. My dad taught me no qualifications, but we do a great job. So I don’t think not having a license makes you a low life. It’s the literal just stealing money and doing shite to no work.

I was a contractor for 40 years before I retired. This is how I did it successfully without one fail. When the contractor shows up with men and a substantial amount of material in your driveway you pay 25%. When the job half-completed you pay another 25%. When the job is complete you pay 40% and hold back 10% for 30 days. This method keeps the momentum of the job going and no one can take advantage.
