Hallalujia, I'm A Bum - From The CD: COME FROM A COAL TOWN

"Hallelujia, I'm A Bum" was a "hobo parody" of a popular hymn of the early 1900's. The song offers a sarcastic take on the idea that the myriad of decent folks who could not find jobs during desperate times were "on the bum" due to their own laziness or lack of capacity.
This song first appears in the 1908 edition of the IWW (Wobbley) Songbook but sadly, still rings true today.
