I do think Lucy is the best. I have never heard or seen anyone who can surpass her. Lucy is pure and genuine. She does not need to use any gimmicks or flaunt her body like the others do. Her voice is gold, unlike any I've ever heard. And her inner and natural outer beauty is a rarity in the world today. As I have said before, Lucy is in a class of her own unmatched by anyone.

NO!!!!! Has this other singer been selected by one of the most prestigious, famous, and world-class theaters, the West End Theater in London, to perform a MAJOR musical late next year in 2024 where only 1% of EVERY audition done for the West End selection committee is selected? NO!!!!! Is this other singer a co-producer of a MAJOR musical............at age 15 when she performed all 3 of her original songs for the West End committee? NO!!!! Point proven!!! We're all huge Lucy Thomas (and her sister Martha) fans so that's all that counts!!

I absolutely agree Lucy's version of this song in my opinion is the best I have ever heard. No words can adequately describe the beauty of her voice and her rendition. She is just amazing and has been blessed with this incredible talent. Wow!! Just sit back close your eyes and enjoy. Her rendition gives me the chills every single time I listen to it.

This is easily the best version by far. As you say no need for fancy video when Lucy is all one needs. It’s all simply perfect as it is! So many great covers and also originals (Broken Dreams) to go through - there are many. I think you’ll enjoy ‘Run’, ‘Fix You’, and ‘Writing's On The Wall’, and if you prefer a classic then start with ‘My Heart Will Go On’.

Great reaction Dennis! This is the best version ever… Lucy has such a perfect voice & makes everything sound amazing! You would love “All By Myself”… the first 1/2 of the song is low key & she sings in the lower range of her voice. The second 1/2 she belts it out SO powerfully… reactors get shocked when they hear it!! AMAZING!

I think she has the most beautiful voice This cover so far has 31 million views .Its the most beautiful version of this song. Have you heard her version of "Listen" at age 14 WoW even at that age she was phenomenal also her version of "memories" from the cats musical .One of my favorites is her version of Bette Middlers "Wind beneath my wings" the ending is magical 🤩🤩

You would really hard-pressed to EVER top this version...........2 words here..........LIQUID GOLD! Her vocal control is uncanny, vibrato is stunning, and her passion & energy is off the charts! Yeah, very easy choice by Hollywood's vocal coach advisors to choose this over any other version for the movie, "On a Wing and a Prayer"........good luck ever topping this, ain't gonna happen!

Dennis, yes this is a great video; for several reasons. First, her vibrato is smooth, symmetrical, evenly undulating, and right on key. Second, her breath control. During the belting part, on two occasions, she used the same breath after a long note/run to continue past where many would stop for a breath. I don't know where she keeps all that breath. Amazing.

BC1982, one of the vocal coaches (I believe it was the 'Charismatic Voice') also mentioned that Lucy's breathing was fantastic........I think the word I've used is 'uncanny'; this young woman can hold a note perfectly better and longer than any other performer I have ever heard!!

@@BlackCloud82 BC1982, 'woof'.........I'll take it she was blown away and stunned by what she is seeing and hearing from Miss Lucy......like all of us have been over the past 5 years! Lucy has 'only' been doing this seriously for 5 years and she will get even better (as if 'perfection' wasn't good enough, LOL!). "Rosie" will probably be taken on a road trip throughout England and then Ireland.........hopefully, she will come over to North America! I will do whatever I can to get tickets to the premier next autumn of 2024!

She is just so talented and the best thing is she is oh so humble. I’ve heard people say that Chris Stapleton is always the most humble person in the room. Time for you to look at her duet with her sister Martha: The prayer. Since the song " you raise me up" the two of them grew up. Their harmonies are even better. Martha voice matured and Lucy...what can I say ? Lucy voice take my heart, crush it in small pieces, and put it back , but it is bigger now. Love the full family🥰👏🤗

I love the sound of Lucy's voice, it is so soothing and warm in the lower tones and clear and angelic in the higher tones. I have never heard anyone with the clarity combined with the power that Lucy has in her singing. It is a gift that she has obviously worked hard to present in the best way possible. So many singers, probably untrained, seem to slur their words together and warble notes endlessly. Good job, Lucy, and good reaction. I love listening to what others have to say about various songs and how they are presented. 😊

Like Brian wrote. "She used to be mine" is a very special song from Lucy. First, she was, I think , 14 or 15, The video is not a studio recorded video. She is in a sort of abandoned building, close to a river. It is a sort of small movie. She express the lirycs ( well above her age) so beautifully. ❤

Dennis, this time when I watched this piece, I got a real kick how after she went up after the bridge I saw you reach for the pause then your face said keep listening and you didn't pause for quite a bit. Lucy can really grab onto you and get you involved in the song.
