Just because they are outside doesn't mean you have to have yours outside. It will look great inside a venue and guess what people...no flies

I think the deal situation to avoid ants and bugs is to pour the drinks literally before the guest are ready for them. I would pour a whole set just for the picture and picturesque look but not for speed as ppl tinkle in in some occasions.

Could you please add links in where to buy the materials? I’m referring mostly to the boxwood. Thank you.

Amazon prime has a lot of options. Lowe’s also has Astro turf by the roll for about $20.

I love how it looks and the idea but wait, besides the flies, wouldn’t the drinks be warm especially in the summer? Yuk.

Why not just put the glasses on a table and fill 'em up?

I just saw this type of wall in action at an event. It looked super cool, and had to look up the DIY versions. It's really awesome for creating a space and giving an additional way to get your drink or to offer someone a drink - guests offering each other. Host to guest, etc. Guess we are in CA and the flies are non existent. As for heat, the filled glasses do not sit on the wall for long at all. It does take your drink servers to restock the wall. But it seemed like guests liked it as much as waiting in line for a cocktail.

Be sure the beverage is ice cold when you put it out. Cover the top with cotton candy for an added flair!
