I met Nicko in Wood Green High road in the late 80s. Being a massive Maiden fan I had to say hello and tell him how long I'd followed Maiden, he was a total gent, down to earth, humble and non starry.

Never met Nico but I did see Iron Maiden in the Cart and Horses pub in Stratford East London in 1976. My old mate Paul Mario Day made his debut that night singing for Maiden. He now lives in Australia and we still keep in touch. Can't remember who was playing drums. Might have been Clive Burr, god bless him. I was mate's with Paul Dianno too. Went with him and Steve Loopy Newhouse, over West Ham to see them play Newcastle. Great days ❤😊

He is in there quite frequently and is always very hospitable and engaging with all the customers. I have had a conversation with him several times there and he is such a nice guy with great energy. Such a cool dude from my experiences
