I watch this one every Halloween. It has been a tradition since 1999 for me.

Santa Mira is sure a lot livelier now than it was in 1982. I guess with Cochran gone and Silver Shamrock going broke, it became a tourist trap.

The excitement I would have being here in person !!!! What is this building the shamrock factory used for
@ExplorerDS678913 жыл бұрын
@a4238088 From what I understand, it was all location shooting, except for the interiors of the factory which were filmed at Don Post's factory.

My God, so cool, thanx for sharing! I heard a rumor, I don't know if anyone knows about it but: I heard that they might tear down the Factory...since you shot that in 2010, do you or anyone knows if it still stands right now? (that reminds me all the time to hurry up and go there...)

Hope they preserve the factory

I am another DIE HARD fan of the Halloween series, and I loved Halloween III. I think it was a great horror film, and it got a bum rap because of it's title. The ending is AWESOME. H3 is miles better than Resurrection.

Thanks ever so much for posting this and what a fantastic job this wonderful piece of film work is!!! I love this and it is such a great time capsule example with the then and now aspect.This is so great that it should have been included in the 30th Anniversary DVD release of Halloween III Season Of The Witch.

That was an awesome decal on the front door! Totally freaked us out though when we saw it on the front door!! It was gone when I went back to take videos!

The factory looked abandoned, was that the case? Were you able to nab a brick?

@rickysatx79 That was shot in Southern California, in Sylmar on San Fernando Road. In fact, all of the scenes not in Santa Mira were filmed in Southern California.
@DoomTownGrafx13 жыл бұрын
@DBFRESH702 From what I heard the beginning of the movie was filmed in Southern California. Some scenes are the same locations from Halloween II including the hospital. Once they hit the road to Santa Mira is when the filming moves up north.

@cropsy2008 Yeah those pictures were taken last year. I put the decal on the door for pictures and left it there. It didn't last too long though, it was gone by the next day.

I live here. It's really not that creepy. The factories are both still standing, the red brick building is taped up and no one's allowed inside. We are certainly low on people though lol
