Halloween 5 The Movie That Ruined The Franchise!

I give indepth reasoning for why I believe Halloween 5 is the movie that ruined the franchise and put in shambles for nearly thirty years. This is just my opinion of why I dislike Halloween 5 so much.

I thought it was funny at the moment they dropped a net on Michael and Loomis was saying "die Michael die" while beating him with a board. One thing that doesn't make sense is why the police allowed Michael to keep his mask on in the cell at the last scene. In real life they would never allow a prisoner to wear a mask in a cell.

😅 just poorly executed, and the movie was rushed, and they messed up so many simple things. That moment still makes me sick haha. I just take it really seriously

They ruined Halloween when they turned Michael supernatural which did start in Halloween 5. Michael has been turned to a super machine. What makes the original so good is the fact it felt more like a serial killer than a walking machine which in my opinion is more scarier and effective. The original Halloween had a suspense serial killer feel that some of the sequels just lacked. I think the idea of rob zombie making Michael myers more human was a smart idea but he didn’t execute it well and is a horrible writer giving Michael a background story. Going back to Halloween 5 I honestly think the supernatural started with Friday the 13th. The director stated the two franchises way pretty much stealing ideas from each other since Friday the 13th originally copied Halloween and Halloween started doing it back lol. 1989 was a disappointing year for slasher. Halloween 5,Jason takes manhattan, elms street 5 was a stacked year for trash.

Whether you like that dimension or not, there is no question that it did NOT begin with 5. Compare the way he moves between 1 and 2....in part 1, he moves like an athletic young man. In 2, he moves like an animated corpse...And as for him being superhuman, no film in the series depicts him as being so invincible as he was in 4.

Halloween 5, along with 2, is the very best of the sequels. There is no other film in the series that is as loyal to the original premise.

There's nothing wrong with that. If you will like Halloween 5, that is okay. Who cares what I say? Don't let it change your opinion. I just take it way too seriously and dive way too deep in the things It's very personal to me haha
