Just in Slovakia and now back in the UK, and I don’t think I’ve seen any companies go as wild as they do in Japan for their Halloween products 😅🎃

That reminds me of something we had about 5 years ago at Knott's Scary Farm. They did smoked shole chicken wings and covered them in a black buffalo sauce. They called them bat wings. The food dye they used actually turned the meat sort of a bluish-gray. They tasted fine, but they really looked gross. Megan did the review for those. Best line from your review - "I've got bigger rocks than you..."

Wow spooky. Looks cool. 2 yrs ago Dempster here in Canada did Halloween black buns for hotdogs and hamburgers. They used charcoal for them. Good video.

Great review. Wow! Interesting idea, (charcoal) popcorn chicken. I'd try to recreate that. From the looks of it, they would be interesting to have as a fun snack (aka, a funny game penalty😂) during Christmas parties, too.🤔

Yea weird looking gimmicks that look sketchy like that are avoided in the US unless it is a promo or very cheap.
@xcalibertrekker66933 ай бұрын
@@CriticalEatsJapan Little, guess it depends who you are comparing them with. At least they are trying to come up with something, they rarely ever do that now in the US as it's to risky.

Those would do better as a "lump of coal" for Christmas! Not sure if that's well known in Japan, but they definitely look like lumps of coal you'd find in your stocking.

Well, besides from the box none of that screams out Halloween. I truly believe that it is pretty good chicken. this works better in December, based off of the concept, of coal in your stockings. I can see if they were in the basic shape of a skeleton, because dead guy and coffin, and I can see this working a little better because, cute April fools joke. Tricking people thinking that you eating coal, but it's just chicken. speaking of coal this also works for independence day. This also works with lava, as in, it looks like you're eating lava. Overall I'm saying, this works for everything else, except for Halloween.

The box was pretty cool. And yeah, I don't really think the Japanese have the concept of coal in a stocking.
