Very cool. Thanks for all the very useful little details. Looking at the face in the dark, I wonder how that might work to make faces to hide in bushes or on a fence. I'm thinking of even using sheet styrofoam for the face part and build out the back with foam or something plastic like a dollar store colander covered in expanding foam (no blocks available so far for me) or maybe even a space blanket in the back if it's secured well enough. Ooohh-make small ones to go around LED string lights to hang from the trees in the graveyard. My poor husband...

That is so cool. I truly love your videos, so well done both the project and the video. Just a thought here, do you think that maybe you could put a section of PVC pipe through the body of the cactus, and have it stick out a couple inches or so, and then have another section of PVC pipe in the arm, that goes OVER the pipe in the body, and then have a bungy cord that runs through both arms and the body. Of course, you'd have to have the cord secured in one arm, and then fed through the body and the other arm and pulled tight, and have some sort of cord lock to hold it in place, maybe with a fender washer against the pipe in the arm with the tension so the cord lock has something to be against. Now you could remove the arms at the end of the season for easier and SAFER storage, so they don't get broken off at some point, and thrown out or lost or damaged more. Too much work goes into these projects to not keep them for as long as possible. Just a though here. Keep up the great work.

Arizona would be the perfect place to have this Halloween decoration. The project is simple. The issue is the carving can be very tedious and time-consuming. I think it took me three days to do this. But it was a lot of carving and arm work so get prepared to have a good workout. It’s also very nice of you to get my book, I do hope your grandchildren like it! I’m currently working on my second one right now, so I’m pretty excited about it! 😊
