I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again and again: Halloween is a way of life, Christmas is a holiday. I’ll live Halloween, but I sure as hell will love the ever loving shiiiiiiiiiiit out of Christmas. Spooky Christmas, classic Christmas, vintage Christmas, Dickens/Victorian Christmas … I’m even obsessed with how people in the Middle Ages celebrated the 12 days of Christmas which was quite chaotic and not unlike Halloween! Love what you love. Life is too short not to. Love you, girl! You do you.

Hi Sam first thing I want to say is never apologize for being yourself . I come to watch your videos because you are a very genuine person and I also love fall and Halloween . I would love to be able to have a place where I could dedicate rooms to Christmas and Halloween (and one for my artwork as well ). I still watch all the Halloween and Christmas movies and specials from my childhood I can find . Lots of great finds! I love the lil mug - it's giving ALL the 80s/90s nostalgia vibes. The retro Christmas cards are also amazing. Christmas, like Halloween, gives me all the nostalgic feel goods. The books, as always, are great! Do you remember the reading program (can't recall the name) Pizza Hut used to do where you read so many books and got a free personal pan pizza back in the day? I can remember going with my family to eat there when they used to have video games (the big old fashioned ones haha) - good times! And yesss, the Scholastic book fairs were sooo amazing! The new books always smelled so good lol.

Love it! I remember loving going to the book fair at my school. My kids get 2 book fairs a year. One in the fall and one in the spring. We usually only buy from the spring book fair because every year they make the fall book fair the same week as picture day. I would love to see a video of you talking about your spooky books. That Clueless cassette! 😍 Absolutely love that movie, and I feel like there's something about the fashion that just pairs so well with Halloween. Also, Scholastic needs to get on it and feed our Millenial nostalgia and set up Scholastic book fairs for adults. It can be all the erasers and pencils and bookmarks and kids books, it doesn't even have to be adult books, I would SHOP SO HARD, especially if they brought back retro Goosebumps, Animorphs, and Babysitters Club covers.

Sam it's ok that your second holiday is Christmas. Because my favorite first holiday is Halloween and my second favorite holiday is Christmas your not alone on that. Girlll don't get me STARTED on price tag placement. I WKLJHASLIRUHRIU ughhh hate it when they wrap them around paint brushes!!! It never wants to come off, then it leaves a residue and if I use acetone it eats the paint off the wood just ughhhhhhhh! The button is so cute! I'm not judging for Christmas, Halloween is my #1 but honestly I just like decorating for seasons and seasonal treats. But my xmas collection is no where near my Halloween decor collection. I love the goosebumps books and placemats. 90s Halloween hit different.

I dislike winter sooo much. But I live in a part of 🇨🇦 that feels like winter 8 months out of the year. Snow suits under halloween costumes, still cross country skiing at Easter...I've even shoveled the driveway on mother's day. Spring, Summer and fall are way too short. I think Summer fell on a Saturday last year😂

I really enjoyed this one. I related so much to what you said about older fashioned stuff and art as well as the young adult books. I've read "adult" books and with a few exceptions (mostly sci fi and horror), they were stupid, boring and poorly written. Today's "art", especially AI art, is boring and lifeless, soulless. As for the seasons. Life begins in late August and ends around may. I don't like the hot weather. The humans are out.
