Stacey Nelkin is still smoking hot! Notice how Tom Akins can't stop smiling ear-to-ear when the love scene is mentioned! Personally I'd need surgery to remove mine after doing it! It's not a masterpiece but this movie deserves a LOT more credit than it gets, it's a pity the mistake made with the name gained it so much animosity from Halloween fans. I think it's ripe for a remake, there's a LOT of potential in the premise for making a very unique, scary and disturbing movie, I hope some competent people take a crack at it and do it under a different, non-Halloween related title.

I didn't give this movie a chance when I was younger. Now that I am older I believe this film really isn't bad. It was a pretty good stand alone film. Too bad Dan was not alive to share in this interview

This was fun to watch. I love Halloween III, always loved how unique it was. Going back to the early days of video rental stores when they'd put the cover of the VHS tape on the shelf for you to decide to rent it or not I always loved the picture of the scary face with the kids walking out trick or treating. So burned into my memory ever since then, I was only 9 so of course it scared me. I don't think I saw the movie until around 84 or 85 though. It was in the early days of cable and HBO. Loved it ever since. Stacey Nelkin was so hot in it I always had a crush on her. I was so disappointed what happened to her in the movie, I always wanted her to get away at the end.

Granted,it came out way back in 1982,when there was no internet around to find out what it was actually about. But being 14 and a horror movie fan,FANGORIA magazine was more than able to let you know about this movie. Back then,some of us were in the know,while a helluva lot more,obviously weren't.

I always liked the storyline is this film. I actually enjoyed the break from the slasher format as I find that genre a bit one dimensional.

The hero manages to kill the protagonist (Conal Cochrane) and escape. And he is able to get most of the TV adverts stopped but at the end he is screaming down the phone to stop the TV ad on one channel and that's when the film ends.

Excellent film - some fairly superficial comment here though imo. I mean the 'pod' genre wasn't mentioned once - and in particular the allegory and metaphor the storyline contains against consumerism, big business, the dangers of a herd mentality and the then perceived impacts of too much TV on the young mind...

halloween 3 was the last great halloween film. explaining to the so called "fans" the reasoning behind part 3 and carpenters original idea has become fucking exhausting. if you dont know why they made part 3, i dont know what to tell you. part 3 is fuckin beast

I was underage at that time in 1982 as my mother just wouldn't allow me to , had to wait several years to see on VHS. I didn't understand the backlash against it as I thought it was a great departure from the conclusion of Michael Myers. His story is over as far as I'm concerned.

When Halloween 3 was released, I wasn't bothered so much by the fact that Michael Myers wasn't in it....but more because I didn't what the hell the movie was about. I've always envisioned witches as old ladies with pointy hats on broomsticks...not old men who wear suits. Also the many articles I read and pictures I saw gave no hints. That's why I (regrettably) gave it a miss.

have an answer for her fate I honestly think she was human at first an turned after being taken they make her a robot then kill her I mean why would they send a robot version of her to check on her supposed father its just going to draw more attention to themselves if she was a robot it certainly wouldn't make sense for her to approach dr challace and do more poking around again it would draw more attention to the silver shamrock company itself and they would not want that am shore they already had a guy at the hospital to kill her supposed father so a robot version of her had no reason to even be there plus if she was am shore she would of killed the dr long before he escaped the factory so yes again I think she was human at first looking for her dad approaching his car at the factory etc etc then was changed to her cyborg form after she was taken an she her self was quickly killed off thats what belive

As a fan of all things carpenter and micheal myers .. "the' halloween iii: season of the witch is by far the most superior Halloween film. The score, the atmosphere, the chilling/thrilling premise and the most epic evil warlock speech of all time.. and of course... tom atkins and dick warlock. 🧡🖤
