I only like the parts where Michael is ruthless. The survivors were so dang dumb that I skipped it. They don't run or fight together when they should. The teen scenes were unneeded, even the dance night. Could give less sh!ts about them all. Baby sitter scene was cliche but I love the kill and liked the fact the kid ran away. Just love Michael Myers. Kinda understand why Laurie would stay but her own daughter is honestly not supportive- I mean, Michael has escaped before and her mom went through that. Yeah, she needs help because she's lonely and paranoid it will happen again- it does. Can't just understand why Michael moves to another town and continue his spree where people are actually smart. Ngl Michael might as well be the president of Haddonfield.

I hate how most horror films feel like they need to make the victims incredibly stupid in order to get caught by the slasher. What does that say overall about the villain? You can make your characters interesting and smart and still have unfortunate events happen to them whether the killer outsmarts them or be it coincidence or bad luck/failure.

Lemme try and recreate Halloween Kills... So, I'll still have the Firefighter scene. But the firefighters themselves will jump Michael all at once instead of taking turns, like that Wii sport resort fighting game. I'll just remove Laurie, cause she is useless. The John couple will just run out their house and to the mob when Michael breaks into the house. The mental patient thing will be cut out entirely. Other characters who are either stoopid or serve no glorious purpose are cut out. The finale will be different. Somehow, by probably a photo taken of Michael's costume, or perhaps a livestream taken by a typical influencer (idk what I'm doing), the mob gets a clear view of Michael's outfit and hatch this plan... They go to Halloween stores and buy similar masks and jumpsuits to Michael Myers, and recreate the look as best as possible. Cue the scene of Karen taking Michael's mask and getting chased. He sees the mask on the ground. He goes to pick it up.... But then headlights light up. The piano music starts. Michael looks around and sees himself everywhere (Though they all have different body 'shapes', no pun intended). Some stand out though as they are not in disguise. The Sheriff (also not in costume) pulls out his gun. "Michael, it's Halloween. Everyone's entitled to one good scare..." Music ramps up. Michael slowly puts on his mask. All of the fakes jump Michael, with varying knifes and baseball bats. Those not in disguise shoot at Michael when possible. As the music gets more and more tense, Michael Myers is on the brink of defeat... The music stops. All the imposters remove their masks, one by one. Karen is removed from this part. Instead, one of the people of the mob takes a chainsaw and cuts Michael head off. (I like to be gory, come at me.) The mob sees this and goes crazy. They hack away more and more parts of Michael. They then cremate the parts separately... ...and that is Halloween Kills. Roll credits. No post credit scene about Michael coming back. Instead, probably a different scene to satisfy the audience. I am 14 and I think I did a better job. Not good, but better job.

I was fine with Michael managing to overcome the mob through sheer will and his semi-supernatural ability to just not die. Especially with the way the movie was hinting that the more Michael killed, the more he could survive, and that only Laurie could outright end him.

My friends and I watched this and went to sleep disappointed. It was literally worse than filler, it was the most pointless, dragged out movie I have watched. Like literally when Karen went into Micheals house and stood at the window for no reason we all started groaning. Don’t get me started on the “evil dies tonight” bullshit. It was said so many times and they managed to get slaughtered by him. Quick question: Why the hell did Karen stab him in the shoulder and not stab his head then stamp the knife into his brain or at least decapitate him? Like I’m sure they want more money from these movies but jesus christ this was god awful. I also need to understand why they tried to hype the movie up like Micheal and Laurie were going to finish each other or something. Because uh, they had the time to do it. But. They didn’t. They wanted to have us watch people panic and get killed or beat him badly then get slaughtered. There was a nice moment though. When Micheal got up and killed everyone nearby, since the idiots didn’t shoot him in the head or anything (Not like it would have done anything but cmon now). And the gore was pretty good but standard. I’ll give it a solid 3/10 for being a complete waste of my time and being dragged on for SO long.

Well, standalone the Percy Jackson movies, having read the books, were the worst thing ever. Without reading the books, they're a 4/10 for me. The Halloween movie does NOT have a book to my knowledge, so it's worse overall in my opinion as its just so STUPID. TLDR: Not based on books, the Percy movies are meh. Halloween is a 3/10 because there was NO REASON for it to be this bad except the script and writing.

I mean, it's a Halloween movie. I liked it, but I didn't expect an epic blockbuster, and my expectations were not disappointed. The scene with the firefighters was actually the worst in my opinion. All of them ready their various firefighting equipment, ready to do battle in this awesome ass-kicking rumble, and... Michael kills each of them with one blow. The guy with the circular saw didn't even do anything significant besides have his saw driven back into his own head. What I also disliked was how easily Karen was killed off for being a main character in two of these three new movies. I wonder how Halloween Ends will deal with her death while her daughter and mother lived.

Yes, this was a major disappointment. The film had a great opening, but after that it just declined to a total anti-climax and just stops rather than ends. Yeah, the survivors are so stupid in this film and it was really a crying shame that *Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie is SIDELINED in her own story.* Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), Halloween IV-The Return Of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween H20-20 Years Later (1998), & Halloween (2018) are all awesome. The rest are either garbage or mediocre as hell as far as I am concerned.

Side note the fire hose scene is funny because those hoses would knock you on your ass. But Michel was like haha I haven't upgraded to the source engine. I was the only person in the theater on a Friday night to see this. It was so boring and so dumb, I got up and did laps around the room to keep from falling asleep. And during the scenes where Karen takes Michael’s mask and Michael faces the last mob, I whipped up a way more interesting ending. That’s pathetic on the studio’s part, when people can rewrite your film better AS IT’S STILL PLAYING. *[Karen takes Michael’s mask. Michael stands up and turns towards her.]* Karen: “You want your mask? Come and get it! You wanna fucking kill someone? TAKE *ME*! I’m an innocent woman, just like your sister was. It was Halloween night. She was in her bedroom. It was right here, her house. Can you feel it?” *[The two stare each other down. Michael slowly takes a step back, and slams the door, locks it. Karen, wide-eyed, runs to the door with Michael’s mask still in hand.* *Inside, Michael turns his attention to Allyson. She quietly begs as she sobs.* *Outside, Allyson’s screams can be heard as Karen tries to force open the door. She drops Michael’s mask on the front step and runs to the back of the house. The back door is shut and locked as well. Karen can hear and partially see Allyson being brutalized by Michael in the hallway.* *Karen looks around and finds a garden gnome. She picks it up and smashes the window on the door. She reaches through, shredding her wrist on broken glass. She unlocks the door and rushes in.* *Allyson’s lifeless, mutilated body lies in a massive pool of blood. The scene is more gruesome than the others, indicating this was personal. Karen kneels down and holds Allyson. The camera pulls back out the now ajar front door. The mask is gone.* *We see the scenes leading up to Michael’s encounter with the mob, led by Tommy. They circle Michael, wielding blunt weapons. Baseball bats. Crow bars. Hockey stick (callback to H20). Close up of Michael’s intact hand as he tightens his grip on the chef’s knife.* *John Carpenter’s theme begins playing quietly.* *We cut back to Laurie and Frank talking in their shared hospital room, then to Karen crying over Allyson’s body, then to all of the victims Michael has left around Haddonfield tonight. Then we cut to the mob. Everyone is dead, their bodies scattered around. Camera pans to the right as Tommy’s foot comes into view. Then the rest of his twisted body.* *Or what’s left of it.* *Michael has decapitated Tommy. The next shot is of Michael from the front, carrying Tommy’s head by the jaw while we hear Laurie’s narration. The final shot is Michael from behind walking down the street and out of view.* *Smash cut to the title card.* *End.]*

Definitely my thoughts exactly I only liked it for the kills the art of storytelling is almost dead in slashers. And I was pissed how Jammie Curtis was just there for eye candy I was really hoping she’s somehow gets a bit of supernatural power just enough to take him on even though the explanation for it would take a lot of back tracking turning it into a completely different movie. I thought the mob ending was stupid af. Like the whole time I was saying cut off his fucking head. Oh and almost forgot that hospital scene was fucking stupid. I love the kills they're brutal. But i hate the movie. Like they killed off like all the original characters. This movie was really disappointing. Like the characters and evil dies tonight BS. I regret seeing it in theaters.

I watched this movie when it came out on red box .... I 100% believe they did this on purpose like they knew it would be bad like all the god awful sharknadoes but they where hoping it would be so bad it was funny but they honestly just ruined the storyline
