Interesting side note: In some parts of Europe during the Middle Ages, it was required by law for men to carry swords. In England for a time, it was required that men own a bow and all sports except archery were outlawed on Sundays. This to have the entire adult male population be able to be called upon for archers.

Well Michael is never seen running or even walking quickly, and tends to not use ranged weaponry, so really this should be the primary way not to get killed by him. Most of the characters in Halloween Kills try a strategy better described as "running into Michael's knife."

I don't know if you seen the movie, but that plot hole bothered me the entire time. This guy is on stage crying about a couple of murders that happened 40 years ago, all the while we live in America, where a mass shooting happens literally every day. Not to get political about it, but reality has kind of desensitized us to horror films, at this point.

@@chadd990 Its one of those things that kinda relies on a meta POV even if it doesn't quite hit in universe? Like, we the audience know of all the Movies where Michael escaped and went on to commit more Murders, but sense the last film just takes into account the Orignal, the whole premise, treating Michael like he's been to this town what the Joker was to Gotham. Feels less justified

I have to give them props for one thing though. Her getting stabbed, being hospitalized, trying to get up and do something but immediately being like "Ow, my stitches!" ...That sounds very similar to what actually happens when you get stabbed. Not super dramatic to watch, perhaps, but realistic!
