So what? You must be totally ignorant if you would really think she says that only trying to make people more interested of it. This film for a reason took it's time and the reason they disregarded the sequels and the controversial sibling storyline between Laurie and Michael respectively this film did many things right. The Boogeyman, The Shape will be back in it's purest form. Not an overgrown or crazy brother so desperately trying to get to his sister. The emotions, the genuine respect that all of the staff and cast have for this film means something. This film means something to many people. Not only would it become huge in the box office because of the nostalgia value but it'll start a new slasher wave like the first one did back in the early 80's. If they would have made a sequel to Resurrection, Curse or those bloody disgusting remakes NOT that many people would have been willing to invest in the franchise that was dead and buried with and because of the later sequels that were just a cash grabs of the previous ones. But yeah I don't mind you having an issue with her and the costant hate and ignorance you have for the newest film and for the franchise that while you so much claim to be a fanatic of.. Each to their own. And since WE all know the first HalloweeN is the best one this can't be any worse than the OG H2. At least I'm very excited for this new film and it'll be 10 days before my actual birthday and the first time ever I'll get to see a Halloween movie in theaters. 🎃🎃🎃
