I used to play this game on co-op with my step-brother. Before that gate would open at 35:58 I would climb up to the rooftops of those buildings and actually make my way past the gate, killing most of the Covenant forces on the other side while he stayed back and cleared the courtyard. Halo 1 is the best, Halo 2 and Halo 3 are great. I liked ODST and Reach. The rest are cancer and aren't Halo.

i grew up playing this when it was live in '04 and I was only 4 years old and now that im leaving in a few weeks for boot camp im reminiscing on the good days from when my dad was in the military and HALO 2 was at the top of the list with HALO CE! I will miss this when im away.
