First of all, perfect quote choice for that comment. I still remember the moment I first got to the main menu of CE, saw Halo spinning there in space, and heard the haunting, amazing monk chant. Absolutely majestic. Up until now, I'd only played/seen the first 3 Halo games on square, 480p SD CRT televisions. When I got MCC and saw them for the first time in 1080p and heard them for the first time in surround sound... Just beautiful. In the very original halo 2 cutscenes when the brutes walk over to the arbiter during his trial they are scared of him, in this they have the brute hit him? A supreme commander? Even if he just got cast out they should of kept to the details of the original scenes.

Why 2 versions? 60 fps isn't perfect on KZbin. It lags for some people and can only be seen through Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. If it were to lag for someone and I only put up the 60fps version, then they wouldn't be able to watch it in HD. On top of all that, I know I'm in the minority here, but I personally prefer 30fps for a more cinematic look. When I'm playing a game, obviously 60fps is king. But to watch a video, 60fps looks strange to me. Either way, I wanted you guys to have all the options. Enjoy!

justme man really, all they did was re-skin the same game. but I don't mean that in the way that it's a different game but same stuff, of course (like most CODs). but yeah, the anniversary editions are just retextured plain and simple, so yeah, glitches weren't fixed. same with CE anniversary. still lags when you are playing co-op and both firing ARs at the same time.

I gotta tell you, these visuals on 60 FPS are absolutely amazing. It brings a lot more detail and nuance to every scene that were missing from the original. It gives more definition to each scene. But knowing this is part of a new game distresses me... just a little. Back when Halo 1 and 2 were it, I was an expert. I could name all off all of the specs of the sniper rifle, for instance. With the way Halo as a franchise exploded and me not having time nor ability to keep pace, with all of these theory videos popping up on KZbin and explosion in the number of games, I just feel lost sometimes. I have lost my fanboy cred a long time ago. Stuff like how many Spartans there are, which iteration Spartan they are, how all the storylines converge, and how humanity and the Forerunners are tied together.

It's just a prologue-ish teaser for Halo 5:Guardians. Basically it's the Arbiter retelling the events of Halo 2. There's an epilogue at the end like this, too.

Yeah that's my concern with having so many editions but then people also want updates. I say if you want the ultimate Halo experience, then I would wait about a week. I'm going to update "Halo: The Movie" with the MCC versions. It's going to have trailers, terminals, Halo Wars, Reach, ODST, and Halo 1-4(MCC). That will be the ultimate Halo video, and probably the last update I'll do for a long time, until Halo 5.

Getting the Banshee through the door takes a while to do. Plus you have to be "Creative" and damage the Banshee to get the wings off. Which means that sometimes trying to get through the door results in physics glitches and the Banshee exploding.

The Covenant are using Forerunner derived alloys and have Energy Shielding powerful enough to survive megaton scale nukes detonating against them and keep fighting. Plus CAS-class assault carriers, as the one the Chief either destroyed or severely screwed up, are MASSIVE. They're mobile cities, in fact; at over 17,000 feet in length, that "Power room" is SMALL for a ship that size. Hell, the hanger bay on CAS-Classes are large enough to carry two human Frigates with ease.

I think they ruined the pacing in some of the cutscenes in this version, particularly in the final confrontation between Arby and Tartarus when he's trying to force Miranda to activate the ring. But otherwise they did a fantastic job with it.
