Delta Sadly I was a bit too harsh on Halo 3 when it was first released. I didn't like how strafing was slowed down, and I was pretty pissed off at the armor unlocks. Not the armor of course, just the achievement system in order to unlock the armor. And it also didn't help I was sort of addicted to Mass Effect during 2007 lol.

I played this game 10 years ago with a friend who just got a 360. He couldn't beat the game solo, so asked me to go through with him in co-op. I never got an Xbox console so I only ever got to play it that one time sadly. For a game I haven't played since 2008 I'm amazed at just how much of it I remember; the weapons, the music, the characters, even the level layout. It speaks volumes of the quality of Halo 3 that someone can have such vivid memories and be so nostalgic for a game they only played once a decade ago. Well played Bungie, well played.

I personally feel Halo 3 had the best campaign in the trilogy. The art direction and atmosphere, soundtrack, soundscape, cinematics and voice acting and especially the "mystery" science fiction element with the forerunners' structures. Playing the campaign was like a surreal experience for me. I love Halo 3.

Hopping on the mic after school and hitting multiplayer with rocket mongooses, and team snipers or btb on longshore. I played it on and off until the end, it's sad to see it go. I know I'm late to the party and that absolutely nobody asked but I just wanted to say Halo:CE was my childhood game and only now in quarantine after more than 10 years of playing CE I thought about downloading Halo 2, and after doing so I got really hooked on the campaign and started to relive the joy I had as a little kid. Right after finishing Halo 2 I wanted to play Halo 3 but I just couldn't download it safely from anywhere( I play on PC) so I thought to myself if I couldn't play at least I could watch the gameplay and this is how I came across your video. Wow, I'm surprised at how little I remember of this game. Bits and pieces but mostly recalled the ending. I forgot how trippy the Cortana / Grave Mind stuff was. It was....what? 8 years ago when it released? I was 13-years-old when it came out and played it with my brother. We beat it in one sitting; we were a little disappointed with how short the story was. Halo multiplayer is great and all, but I played it for the story. Still, solid game and good times. Thanks for the playthrough! :D

yeah well you kinda came to the wrong game if that's what you were looking for. Story quality and quantity was decent but it still had some meat on it just not a lot. As for its campaign gameplay, it was designed to be action packed which it was. For a FPS thats strong point was MP that's extremely good. Halo didn't set out cater to story lovers which is fine so long as it caters to something.

I remember I got this game years ago when I first got my 360. I had never played any halo games previously so I didn’t really know what to expect. I remember the exact day I got it. I was just a kid and I was so excited to play it. Unfortunately my best friend didn’t have the game so he used to spend weekends at my house where we would stay up all night playing Co-op. I never ended up playing it that much in the end after we had finished the campaign and messed around on multiplayer. Those were the days :’)

God brings back so much memories as my little brother and myself played this game so many times when we were kids, he passed away two years ago he would've been a year and a half younger than me I'm 23 and I'm now finally leaving for marine corps boot camp this month in two weeks or so, I'm keeping my promise to my little bro that i will become a marine. Best game ever. What other game in existence has a powerful, touching and moving story that builds upon and perfectly concludes everything established in its first two outings. No need to mention the fact that this game has an outstanding score, multiplayer component or that it has flawless rhythm and pacing. Overall words cant describe how amazing this game is.

Jeremy Ng Thats true in a lot of games, like W.O.T. You drive a 200t german heavy tank and cant destroy some houses, only the ones that the developers made destructible.And being on a small wooden bridge with that tank.....(nothing happens...)
