I like the lore accurate ret-con of the reduced magazine size of the Assault Rifle. I've had that question lingering in the back of my mind since 2007.

I think they dropped the 60 round mag because people pointed out how stupid it us for a rifle that uses 7.62 NATO to carry that much.

I agree. However Reach had a more militaristic gritty look. In Halo 3 they had a more clean and less war torn look

Large McDonalds Sprite Ok. I have no problem with the art style just everything looks very bright green. Not counting the Tank ofcourse. And I like how Reach has that flip screen with the Spartan Laser. And the Reach sniper having the more detailed scope with the wires. But the M90 CAWS looks really cool though I also really like the M45. Course it could be simply the red iron sights and longer range.

I still love the fact that so many sci-fi franchises have Gatling's gun design still being used so many years in the future. The basic platform invented in the 1800s still going strong in the 2500s, can't keep a good design down!

I'm sure this has been mentioned at some point, but the L in 12.0 L stands for liters, which measures the total volume of the cylinders in the engine. That's a really big engine.

To be fair, all the lengths and sizes on here are mental and i I feel it's not only silly to keep giving these sizes out, but also an injustice to the games and the designers. Did Notice some typo's/ mistakes. The transport warthog is listed as the Gauss warthog. And the Flamethrower is listed as manufactured by Ushuaia Armory when you mentioned Misriah Armoury. But a fantastic informative video man. :)

I don’t know how much the halo universe 762 by 51 round differs from our current 762 by 51 nato but irl an individual round of 762 by 51 nato weighs 24.5 grams now consider how many rounds the the average UNSC marine with a assault rifle drops on death/gives you when swapping weapons and then factor in the weight of the rifle itself and the actual mags themselves have weight even when empty which then has the weight of 31(the 32nd is in the chamber) added on to that you start to realize how physical strong the average UNSC marine actually is but the equation didn’t even factor armor, clothing and other kit

@@LockheedC-130HerculesOfficial Yea while I like the idea of having bayonets as attachments, I don't think they were executed the best in Halo 5. To me the look of the energy bayonet is off (the knight blade is pretty cool tho imo - I'd be down just to have a standard human combat knife attach to a BR, that'd be sick!), but I yea I just want the weapon attachments to return from H5. It's something that is most definitely present in-universe, just not shown often in games, and I think that should change.

I like to pretend that Spartans and marines/ODSTs have different sized weapons and the ones you pick up happen to be spartan size weapons don’t mind the whole ability to change weapons with other marines and stuff as I don’t use that function so I got my own little lore because the size of the assault rifle would be better suited a LMG for marines/ODSTs

Okay, the effective range listed for the BR55HB is just ridiculous. It fires a round that's pretty much an oversized AK-47 round. There is no way it has a longer effective range than a gun firing a 7.62x51mm round.

300m effective range on 7.62 assault rifle with short barrel, but only 100m on a STATIONARY mounted long barrel rotary machine gun, firing the same round? Plus way higher damage.... Its cringe, the AR in halo does damage that id expect a 5.56mm weapon to do. I love the lore, but only when its actually universe lore, the game lore I always found odd. Trying to fit intentionally changed and nerfed weapon stats (made for game balance) into the lore is valliant, but when you say a 7.62 AR in the year 2557 has half the effective range of the standard 7.62 rifle of today, it sounds very lame. This is in no way a criticism of your video or the devs, just something that has always irked me XD
