that sax stinger at 11:35 hits me just the right way, dont even know why
@Afterburner2154 жыл бұрын
A heads up on why this, and the 'Neon Night' videos are amazing: the big track here (Something Like Sorrow) isn't one sound file. It's actually one long backing track, and about 30 or so separate sax interjections, meaning that benmarshall801 had to construct this track manually by placing each piece down themselves...in a manner consistent to the game. Tremendous stuff.

Something Like Sorrow is bar none my favorite jazz piece in the entire soundtrack. Words cannot describe my appreciation to Marty for composing such masterpieces. And to you especially, for unlocking the true depths of the soundtrack. For all of us to experience and listen to.

Silence Before the Storm sounds so much like something out of Mass Effect lol I really like From the Ashes, often I would replay the missions and then quit once the game loaded back into Mombasa Streets, so I would hear the beginning snippet of music before exiting. But I have since grown to appreciate both Mombasa Streets and this game’s soundtrack more, so I try more often to stick around and wander, soaking in all the ambience.
