Someone who doesn't want it exploding in close proximity to themselves. Basically, it's like an RPG with an arming period. But instead of just hitting it and not exploding, it hits and... bounces. That part is probably just a side effect of it being a radioactive plasma ball/field than an actual physical thing. I mean, in theory, it's likely that the fuel rod fires a capsule or something with a small delayed charge that *then* creates whatever sci-fi reaction that makes it so.. explodey. It would explain why it's not volatile until after it's fired.

I agree, you all should do ODST LASO next. Also, during the first part, don't the enemies keep dropping/respawning until you progress to a certain point? Like all the ones coming down on drop pods will keep coming until you reach the first level of the tower...and so on and so forth as you keep progressing. Cause I remember doing this on Solo Legendary and I thought I would hang back and clear them out to make it easier to progress and it seemed like they just kept coming until I hit the tower.

Being stuck in a vehicle through the end of the level might be the worst part. They'll have to hurry (the platforms collapse faster on Legendary) and they won't have shields. Plus, sentinel beams generate extra push because of Cowbell, and they won't all fit in one warthog.

The bladed brute weapons actually do do more melee damage. Brute shot is nasty against the flood

You guys know there's a glitch to get infinite ammo spartan lasers for the end? All you have to do is kill Johnson a lot: 1: After entering the long hallway with Johnson, about halfway through or so, kill Johnson. 2: Take his spartan laser and replace it with a weapon Johnson cannot wield lying next to him (eg: the hammer) 3: Johnson will get up without a weapon. He will then proceed to try punching you. Enjoy the hilarity. 4: Kill him again. 5: From here on, he will get up with spartan lasers containing (no kidding) infinite ammo. Beware, he is now agro on you. 6: Repeatedly kill Johnson, take the laser, and by swapping weapons over and over, move it away from him. Use a laser to kill him; he's got a lot of health. NOTE: Don't leave a regular weapon near him as he's down, or he'll grab it and lay waste onto your souls. 7: After you have a pile of lasers set up somewhere (leave them laying in the hallway), enter the Guilty Spark encounter. 8: After blowing him up and returning to the (sort of) flood-filled hallway, the spartan lasers will be there waiting for you. If Johnson was downed as you entered the encounter, he will be there for some reason as well (might get floodified). 9: Enjoy.
