But as I have been playing in my series x I've come across probably 3-4 noticeable bugs. The rest didn't really effect game play at all which doesn't bother me as I'm enjoying the content not looking for bugs. If you look for them youll find them, as with anything.

I appreciate this video acknowledging that delays don't automatically make a game better - or worse. What matters is how that time is used, and what priorities are realized. While the content drought leading up to the December update didn't make me optimistic, I would rather 343 err on the side of staying tight-lipped instead of flooding the airwaves with false promises. Cyberpunk is now a textbook case study of what happens when you overhype a thing for too long. It's as much a victim of its own high-budget marketing as its technical shortcomings. I've got no illusions Infinite will be perfect when it launches. Hell, it may not even be good. But 343's apparent caution seems to show they're taking at least some appropriate care with their product.

@@karna6634 Sure, unfortunately unless you have a powerful PC the game works fine. But when they put a new update in for the fix one of the problems for the PlayStation and the Xbox I got that same update and my game crashed and I had to re-download the game all over again. Other than that the game runs fine. But you have to have your settings at a specific level for the game to run properly. Insured cyberpunk 2077 was not ready to come out this year. CD project red is going to fix it and do it right, but I just lost complete interest in it. It just feels too much like playing Grandtheft auto. I’m more into playing in a story driven games then just something like GTA. That’s just my personal taste. But if you give it a try you’ll actually might enjoy it. Ensure it when gaming companies come out with a new product you need to give your tech teams as much time as possible before you release it to the public. I think if the game is delayed until maybe March or April 2021 then it may have been released with better results. Each time I had to dumb down the graphics and other things I just lost interest in the game completely. But that’s just my thing I went through. I’m not shooting down Cyberpunk 2077 because it is a good game. But The developers needed more time. Give the developers more time before you go on by the game. Witcher 3 was not successful and perfect when it first came out so every company has these problems every so often. just be patient. Give CD Project Red the time they need to really develop their masterpiece. I don’t doubt that it will be a success but not now. I think the one big thing that bothers me is that in short they needed more time to develop this game. Despite over a 5 to 10 year period they’ve been working on this project. Don’t buy a new game when it first comes out but give it a few weeks before you decide to put money into it. Do you want to make sure the developers have plenty of time to fix all the bugs and issues with the game before it’s released not after.

Cool as it is that the Banished are back for the campaign, I worry that they're trying too hard to separate the story from where Halo 5 left off. Sure, making Cortana the villain and would-be dictator in an AI uprising is hacky, but that's where the story was headed. This sudden shift from "AI Rebellion" to "Not!Covenant on another Halo ring" just feels like a hamfisted move to kick Halo 5's story under the rug and hoping people don't ask too many questions about how things got to this point. Admittedly, the jump between Halo: CE's ending and Halo 2's start is also huge, but at least they gave us a book (First Strike) to help bridge the gap between them.

Fun fact. By the time it’s released, Halo Infinite will be the most expensive game ever made. Current estimates have it around 500 mil. The added development year probably cost another 50-100 mil. I also think a big reason why they’re pushing it to Fall is to coincide with the franchises 20th anniversary which is November 15th, which is a Tuesday so I expect it to release either November 12th or 19th. I assume the tv show will also air around the same time.

If anything, delays need to be seen as a good thing in this day and age. Game development is far more complex than it was 10 years ago, and even more so now with COVID protocols and entire teams working from their own homes. It has to be an immense challenge to coordinate all of it into a single pipeline. I think it comes down to a need for developers to be a bit more transparent in their delays, and there's a definite need for upper management to back off and let the investors just chill. Nobody enjoys under baked cookies. I'm hoping Halo: Infinite is baked to perfection this time around.

After what I’m experiencing with cyberpunk I need this company to take as long as it needs. I’m 23 and Halo was the first video game I ever played at age 6. Since then I went of this crazy ride of Xbox gaming from the creation of MATCHMAKING to the first game to have DLC MAPS. Then the first shooter were people could become professional gamers making over 6 figs. Growing up everyone knew halo and give it the respect it deserved, however every grade in school I increased less and less people gave it respect. And on graduating high school in 2015 it was looked at something comparable to a bulletstorm. @@justchilling704 the issue is not that it looked current. The issue is pop ins, the issue is no facial animations, the issue is boring monotone texture detail. Halo 3 and reach had iridescent and alien textures, as well as animations for everything happening in foreground and the background. Enemies move their mouths, for example. No one cares about current or next gen. I still play CE on classic graphics. This game looks /lazy/. This game looks unpolished. Its gameplay is concerning. Visual fidelity is but a small slice of the pie. Microsoft needs to forget Xbone and spend the next 2 years revamping this game and fixing it. Remove sprint and fix the level design. The new shield is awful, bring back the bubble.

With Joseph Staten on board, Halo Infinite deserves ALL the time it needs! Halo 2 and Destiny would have had far superior campaigns had Joe been allowed to fulfill his vision for the stories of both games

Delays suck, but I'm glad game companies do this to make sure they release a complete and polished game. A couple of bugs are bound to happen with any release. But I'd rather deal with some bugs that can be fixed with a patch, than deal with a complete mess and disappointment.

The fact that there are fools who actually held hope for infinite after 343 screwing up 2 times, 343 not ONCE making a good halo game, and people actually think paying for anything after buying a game is okay saddens me greatly. But ill give you the benefit of the doubt and assume whatever the hell you said has a valid point. So. Moving on. Why is H4 the best campaign? Simple. Gameplay is all that matters. Art and story are all supplements. But they ultimately are not important. As video games are games. The Prometheans are by far the best AI in Halo though. They are properly orthogonal. And cover each others weakness. Like in Doom they are all pieces on a chess board and you prioritize them in different ways depending on their permutation.

Though the recent game, Cyberpunk was delayed before but it still looked bad when it was launched. For infinite when it was delayed people were upset because it was delayed but some were understanding why it should be delayed. If anything Cyberpunk should be an example of if halo didn't get delayed and was released then it would've been a broken mess, although we yet to see gameplay but hopefully somewhere in 2021 we see one before the release.

Not to mention the delay prevents the worker abuse CDPR put its devs through, and seemed primarily to add wild, off-the-wall ideas last minute rather than concentrate and refine the game like 343i are doing with Infinite. It's really honestly annoying to me that 343 is basically doing everything CDPR honestly DIDN'T do when you look anywhere past the surface level, and yet some people seem to think this'll somehow come out worse.

@@henryalberts539 CDPR did mess up but with 343 they did have experience of what happens if you piss of the fanbase, while they aren't great or perfect but they are doing their best to make infinite the best it can be, we've seen they change art style and showed gameplay even if the gameplay wasn't great but atleast they showed it in the state it was in unlike how how CDPR showed theirs

Every delay is a good delay, but they wouldn't be delaying it if nothing was wrong. So while delays mean that things are not good, delaying is the only way to fix it. So while delays are bad because it means there is trouble, delays are the only way to fix it. That doesn't mean it will be good but if they didn't delay it, we would know for sure it would come out bad.

Previously, I was just neutral on the topic of Infinite getting delayed, and was kind of annoyed to know that Infinite wouldn't be shipping till next year. But now looking at how Cyber punk released, I'm all in on Infinite getting as much time as the developers need to polish it up to scratch before launch. If anything, I have more hope for it now then I did before the gameplay demo was shown. Great video man, as with all your other ones :)

I was hyped about infinite two years ago. Then again a year ago I still was excited. When that gameplay trailer was shown, it killed all hype/ faith i had for infinite. Then we found out the multi-player is free. At this point too many red flags are being set off for me to play it. Hopefully it turns out good for the people that are excited for it, as for me, im gonna go back to playing halo 2.

You said multiple times that we don't know what stage Infinite's story and gameplay are at, but Joseph Staten said in the same development blog that he'd played the entire campaign since arriving at 343. That suggests the campaign side of things is complete, or complete enough to be playable.

Halo 4 had a promising future for it's campaign. If it had only reverted to the Halo 3 art style and if the leadership and creative team had stuck to their guns for Halo 5's story instead of rebooting the story halfway through development, probably due to appeasing to fans. Halo would've been in a better place instead of having a divisive Halo 5 with the general consensus being it having a mediocre story and great multiplayer. I want to love Halo again and hopefully 343 uses that extra year to polish the game to have it be a true next gen experience.

Gamers are their own worst enemy ,rushing companies to release games but when companies release games that are unfinished(cyber punk being the best and worst example)then fans complain the only games I have bought day one in the last five years was doom 2016 and red dead 2 and I wasn't disappointed . Sure games companies should have a realistic time frame for releasing games in but the more graphically enhanced games become the harder it is to also iron out every bug or glitch in a game.I feel cyber punk 2077's main problem seemed to be a Jack of all trades master of none situation it desperately wanted to try too many things and what developers need to learn is that sometimes less is more had it left out the looter shooter elements ,worked on enhancing it's open world and ai as opposed to trying to copy border lands and deus ex and went solely with a more gta in the future kind of idea I feel that it would have been better suited instead the developers trying too hard to make it like every popular game on the market they boxed them selves in and made a game that was never going to live up to the hype. I am glad that Microsoft postponed the new halo until it's been fine tuned (graphics are now a main selling point and harder to produce than classic games where the code and engine was simpler to produce)
