Halo has never been the ultimate graphical FPS showcase on console. Or at least, ever since COD and Battlefield started to steal marketshare and popularity away from Halo in the late 2000s that has been the case. Halo’s visual strength has always lied within its art style. Cartoony or not, it is definitely stylized to all hell, it’s iconic and unmistakable. Kind of like Star Wars. You know what you’re looking at when you see it.

Watching the Halo Infinite multiplayer showcase gave me a flood of flashbacks from when I used to play Halo 2&3 couch co-op with my friends. Some of the most fun I’ve ever had as a gamer. I’m still iffy on that campaign, but the multiplayer looks to have gotten its soul back. There’s nothing like Halo MP and I’m hoping that it truly has returned to form.

I feel like they could’ve made the textures on the multiplayer armor a little more war torn and gritty, and tone down the shield effect, I feel like that’s why it looked a little weird, but overall I think the game looked pretty good. Big improvement from last year

I think it looks incredibly detailed, I’m not an OG Halo fan but either way I think this looks pretty good and I’m not really a multiplayer guy. However I am cautiously optimistic since 343 has had a troubled history with the franchise. The fact that the multiplayer is free though I have no reason not to try it out.

I expect halo to look better. In terms of the art style and graphics of the previous titles like halo 3 and halo reach I expected more grit and to be wowed by the graphics. Halo infinite kinda seems too.... clean? Not sure if that is the right word. Also, sprint doesn't really bug me all that much but what does kinda turn me off is the ADS and hit markers. I'm not sure why. Thinking out loud but doesn't Halo 2 anniversary look better? Maybe I'm tripping..
