I got the achievement accidentally. I saw the tank and literally thought “Aw sweet it’s Sheila.” I literally drove it the whole route even saying “Firing Main Cannon” occasionally. The tank ended up surviving the entire time and when I pulled into the base and the achievement popped I was pleasantly surprised and bursted out laughing.

I experienced both Easter eggs within 20 minutes of each other lol, I got BroHammer to drop me off a scorpion when heading to the last tower and he said the line, I then charged towards the house using the scorpion and literally broke out into cheers and laugher when I got that achievement without even knowing or trying haha. Think Imma go back and re-watch RvB from S1 E1 all over again

correcton theres three rvb easter eggs. supposedly there's a hole u go down and there's a dead marine and a grunt. they built little bases and there are red and blue lights. the marine has blue and the grunt has red.

I just want to say, the mission where you kill the spartan killer and eventually free the pilot, there are intractable buttons. I found 2 in the 2nd test room but I didn't find any in the first because I wasn't looking for them at the time (this is my first playthrough I just stumbled upon the two buttons.) and I didn't bother looking for more buttons after. I haven't seen any videos on it anyone have a clue or knows what it leads to.

In the room right before the second test there is a 3rd and final button. All this little EE does is spawn a rocket hog inside the 2nd test room. Still kinda neat I guess

There’s 3 buttons in the advanced training room, one in the entrance, one on top of the tower, and one near the roof accessible by using the tower to grapple to metal pipes. No idea what it does tho

Fun fact: I had one of those drop pods drop directly on top of my wraith on heroic and I didn’t die. I think it’s just a collision thing, but I died right afterward once I got out of the tank lol

There's another RvB nod. In load screens you'll sometimes see the hint titled "You ever wonder why we're here" - the opening line. The description notes that enemy players are outlined in red and allies in blue. The placement of this achievement reminded me of Blood Gulch - a winding road with hills between two bases in a canyon.

I never got Esparza to say that line to me but on my playthrough I took "Sheila" not even knowing about this and got the achievement and as soon as I saw it pop up I was like oh hell yea! So many good memories from middle school and high school wrapped up in this game for me! By the way have you come across one of the other Red V Blue reference you can find in the open world. Hint a grunt and a marine fell down a shaft.

The trick to the Bringing Shiela Home achievement is going slow and be cautious. Or you could take a Wraith and clear the way first 👍

Got it on Heroic myself by accident. I took advantage of the Wraiths to begin with. After they blew up my Wraiths I walked all the way back and got the Scorpion for good measure. Glad I did too I noticed it was pretty rare!

The second I saw the Easter egg where he dropped Sheila off I knew. About 20 mins later I brought Sheila across the bridge and got the achievement, did this at a time when only 0.38% of gamers on Halo had done the same. Might have very well been within the first 100 to finish the campaign, and I fired it up on Legendary the first time 🤷🏻‍♂️

Easy way to do it on any difficulty is don't drive the tank at all. Use every other vehicle to clear your path. Once your reach the end, extend the bridge and run all the way back to the tank. Drive it down to the bridge safely and the achievement pops

Maybe future iterations of the game will have better environmental physics systems. Aftermaths of battles that persist on screen, not just in memory. Fell a tree with a tank during a battle, it still lays there where it fell if you return later. Glass an area with an airstrike mid game? It's still glassed by the end game. Destroy a phantom? It falls, crashes, breaks apart, and the wreckage stays there forever. In a game like Halo, you could even expand the gameplay with systems like this, as you could push the parts around, creating physical structures within the game that you could climb on, or push a huge tree / rock down a hill to splat a bunch of grunts, or knock down a hunter. Blast a cliff edge and watch the rocks tumble down to a base below crushing the unaware enemies. The clutter over time could be combated by simply replacing the HD textures of things to a black, charred, lower resolution version of them once they're destroyed. The models could be swapped out to a lower polygon one, or if the model breaks apart on destruction, you could just delete intricate parts of the model instantly, so long as some parts remain, big chunks, with one or two minor detailed parts, it would still look good.

For The Road - if your tank is badly damaged already and you hear the horn of the Phantom, getting out quickly and running away from the tank will draw the Phantom's attention to you, and away from the tank. Once it's gone, you get back in and continue your rampage.

I got this one on Heroic on accident. Died a few times, but just like playing all the other games on Legendary, the easiest way to win is always to stick with Sheila, blow shit up from a distance. Tank beats everything.

I did this first try on normal but I didn't know it was a secret achievement. I didn't even know it was an achievement till I got it. The only damage it took was to where the side panels were fuming out black smoke. They never caught fire. I also heard Echo-216 say that line once or twice

I tried alternating vehicles during this mission to keep the tank in one piece. But when I got near the end to return to Sheila, it was gone. I don't think the AI attacks it when you're not in it, but it still was gone.
