Halo has finally shown us the Fall of Reach with Episode 4, and while some of the problems with the Halo TV series are still present, there was enough action in this episode to allow us to look past those issues. With some terrific action sequences, great pacing toward the end, and some heroic sacrifices, Episode 4 is much closer to the Halo show that fans wanted, so it's getting the GreatWatch rating. Yes the canon lore is still out the window and Master Chief is inexplicably without his armor but hopes for those kind of issues being corrected went out the window long ago. Is this the turning point the Halo show has been looking for? Proooobably not, but we're halfway through the season so we'll know soon enough.
Will people leave flowers on the side of the road for the Perez family? Can Master Chief save Gaza? How much NAGGING with Master Chief have to endure from Corporal Perez? Chief and most of the Spartan 2’s were actually fighting on reach the entire team before the planet officially fell in canon. Halo reach deviated from the lore and made its own story. Still a great game in its own right!

Finally a review that isn't on huffing copium. Episode 3 was when Season 2 took a nose dive and it became a crappy CW show. Your honesty just earned my follow, keep up the good work.

Call me close minded but after seeing them take off Chiefs helmet was exactly when I stopped watching. I am a huge halo fan. The only thing i haven't done is read the books (except listen to a couple audio books not sure if that counts) and them taking off his helmet like that was completely unearned and betrays the character greatly. Aside from other things. My biggest gripe is the helmet thing.

Yeah, audiobooks count. 😊 I only read the first 3 books. The fall of reach, the flood, and first strike. The Fall Of Reach is a great read/listen. Plus they adapted it into an animated movie a few years ago.
