Halo tire inflation review. Must watch before you buy!!!

Wow, I can’t believe I watch the entire video. I salute you for sharing your experience in such detail. I’ve been using the inflation system for almost 4 years now, and I I have also ran into some interesting points. I guess I will have to make a video of my own at some point. Thanks again

Definitely saved me from buying this. Im looking for Auto Inflate for my trailer but doesn't sound like this would even counteract a Nail/Screw in the tire. Thanks brother

If it is on the trailer, they have a psi system you can get installed for, like 1800. Call a trailer shop and ask. That's how much they were about a year ago. Good luck

I wish I had found your review sooner. I would have went with a different inflation system. It is disappointingly slow.

I’ve had this system on the truck that I drive for the company that I work for since I got it and all of my pre-trips my drive tires are within a couple psi of each other and the post trips. They’re all within a couple psi of each other and the setpoint is 110 psi. it hasn’t let me down yet.

@evil03mustang08 do me a favor... drop your tire 10 psi below where it says it pumps up to. Next, drive a shift. Let it set overnight, and you will see it's still 8-10 psi under the set point. Mark my words on that!!!!

@@firstfreightlines750 so I have one tire that every Sunday after sitting for about 40 hours is it roughly 92 psi. I’ll let the halo do its thing. I check it at the end of my shift, and it is roughly 110. The next morning, it’s sitting somewhere around 107 good enough for me.

Do you think it will inflate faster at highway speeds,? I think sitting on jack stands at 20 mph isnt a real world situatuon test, but its good to know they dont inflate much at 20 mph, i know some guys running Halos they claim it will air up the tire 20 psi loaded at 70 mph in 5-10 mins. From 70 psi to 110 in 30 miles... or so they say Edit, thanks for video. Interesting test Im on the fence about these.

No... the heat from the road will inflat it faster. You will never get the real psi capability fast enough. I have tested that theory. I do believe I said that in the video. But I had 95psi and dropped the tires to 85psi. After 3 of driving, it hit 100 psi. After letting it sit overnight, it dropped back to 88 psi. Drove 5 hours and hit 100 psi and the next day 88 psi. The system can't work fast enough. Does it pump air? Yes. But not like what you think. It's too slow. Road heat airs it up faster.

@firstfreightlines750 ok, it sounds like basically the Halo system could add 5-10 lbs of actual air a day to your tires, I could see how that helps with small issues but its not worth installing them for $1700. Heck we can get the meritor or Hendrickson auto inflate system for like 2K. You put alot of work into this test and understand tires very well, road heat and temp and testing them on the stands is next level testing. Appreciate your effort and reply. I will pass on these paper weights and stick with a real tire inflation system! All I hear on YT is how great and simple they are! Must be sponsored vids! Lol.
