Man I remember counting the days until this game came out. Personally it was a bit of a letdown seeing as the game changed drastically from what they showed in an early demo, but its still addicting and really fun. Cutscenes were top notch and you could tell they put in a lot of work into this game.

I got wars 2 days ago, along with 2 of my friends... we join a 3v3 and notice that the only people who still play it are the die hard General ranks... But we wern't put off, and one of the generals even congratulated us after we trounced them!

I found it to be a rather cool concept that Bungee would use the factions in their successful FPS as an element for an RTS. It'd be cool if gaming companies would do this more often like with Killzone, Resistance, and Metal Gear Solid.

It's pretty relevant Halo was supposed to be an RTS all the time. They added a feature to control characters fps-like for extra submersion but ended up prefering that view and so the first Halo game was of the fps genre.
