In case there's anyone curious about the filming location - it's a castle called Křivoklát, one of the oldest castles (13th century) in the Czech Republic. As a Czech person and a huge Halsey fan, I'm super proud that she chose to shoot the movie in my country, so I just wanted to share that little piece of information with anyone out there wondering about the location :)

To be honest I never really knew much about halsey I maybe heard a song on the radio here or there and thought it was catchy but that was it. I read an article about trent Reznor and her doing a album and being a NIN fan I knew I was going to give it a listen. This song is so good. I like that they went Victorian era for this video because the melody reflects that a bit. And it is juxtaposed with a really expressive drum n bass track. Reznor is a master of gritty electronics and beautiful pads. Him and Atticus are two of the great composers with their sountracking of the movie Soul. I have never liked Halsey more with this album and this song really showcases why. It sounds a bit like that group from the 2000s called Ladytron.
