Lilith Folklore always fascinated me. Lilith was not truely evil. She was made evil coz she refused to be with Adam,first human and went to Lucifer,the fallen angel. I hv always seen Lilith as a very empowering woman. Truely, halsey just killed this album. This song is awesome. U go Halsey.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Throughout the song she didnt use "Lilith". And thats what is creativity here. Few artist do this and Halsey is one of them. Normally the chorus is the name of the song but in this case it is different.

Here after Halsey's and Suga's Collab for Lilith, love both!!
I love this song because of its meaning in relation to the title. Lilith is seen as evil, but in my book, she was a baddie! She was created at the same time as Adam, not from him like Eve. She refused to submit to him. When she left the garden, she found comfort in Samael and stayed with him after his fall. Queen of Hell always seemed like a badass title to me. She’s seen as a succubus demon in some lore, but as a mother of fertility, sexuality, children, and women in others. She was destructive OF THE PATRIARCHY lol! They took a strong woman and dragged her name because she went after what she wanted. She ended up with Lucifer, but I dont think that makes her inherently evil. A little corrupted? Yes. Destructive? Yes. But that doesnt take away from her overall strength.

If she was in the garden she was the serpent ad boy did she get punished she has to crawl on her belly and eat dust. God made eve for adam not the lying serpent whom only lies when its lips are moving. Lilith wants you to feel sorry for her, she disobeyed and got caught and severly punished and now she tells lies to anyone that welcomes her evil and miserable existence. I dont know if she is satan or just another fallen angel but if she was in the garden she is eating dust now. She wants you to believe she was done unfairly but she got what she deserved when she enticed adam and eve to disobey.

Liliths crime according to El was that she refused to lay under a man and only be a womb, she recognised the power of creating life and found him unworthy of her vessel. Lucifer thought of El as unfair, and asked him "why are the creatures you created less than you? Why did you give them free will if you're to deem it as a sin?" And he was banished too. In some tales, Lilith goes on to marry Lucifer, hence why they are demonized. Lucifer made her a queen, a ruler - not just a womb to fill. This is apparently enough to be classified as demons.
@LongcrierInProgress3 жыл бұрын
It's pretty telling that El demonized Lilith for even expressing her own autonomy and not choosing as he did. Reminds me a lot of abusive father roles to their children. Arranging a marriage for your offspring without their consent then demonizing them for not going through with their parent's dictations is pretty abusive to be honest.
@angethedumbone3 жыл бұрын
@@LongcrierInProgress Exactly. Christian belief has been corrupted with a lot of abuse cycles/trauma and fear. "You who do not believe in me shall burn in Hell". He also banished or even killed the other 72 Gods, and many of his own archangels. He does sound like an abusive father.
