ABOUT CHICAGO PD
From multiple Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, "Chicago P.D." is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city's most heinous offenses - organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond. Handpicked as the head of the unit, Det. Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) has assembled a team of diverse detectives who share his passion and commitment to keeping the city safe. They include Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati), Officer Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), Officer Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) and Det. Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos), the newest member of the team with killer instincts, humor and smarts. Desk Sgt. Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) runs a tight precinct with tough love, although she lets her softer side shine through from time to time.

Also, that's Haley Webb who played the victim she did a phenomenal job in this episode, she came from The Final Destination and Teen Wolf back in the day when she younger.

@@toneyrobinson4974 unfortunately, many women remain with these scumbags, feeling sorry for them, hoping to change them or just feeling trapped or scared of retaliation if they fight back, leave or even report these heinous acts..today's situations of such conditions are actually placing women at an advantage since authorities, no longer consider spousal or child abuse a family matter as they often did in the past and kept out until a very serious injury occurred ... this show( although, utterly unconstitutional in its police conduct) is very entertaining and heartwarming on many levels...

Ohhhh I love it when Voight's employees act like the old him. Voight has learned his lesson about his brutal methods not being OK, and he even told Hailey Upton that he didn't want her to end up like him, which I appreciate a lot. I was not a fan of the old, brutal Voight, and I am glad that he has changed his ways since then. However, the woman's abuser deserved every second of it because he was abusing the girl who loved him and that's not OK at all. I was surprised that Halstead would do that since he isn't like Voight, but he clearly did have a reason behind his actions.

Sam Nelson Her abusive husband isn’t no saint either.what kind of an husband he is..beating his wife?? & yet couldn’t even fight jay & got beat up.he is dangerous..that’s incapable of killing her & making sure..no one finding her body.most of all..he would’ve been sentence to life with-out parole.or better yet..deserves to be executed. jay is a good detective..that puts his life on the line for others that deserves to live. her punk a**, loser husband..deserved to be in prison cell & be abuse by inmates.her husband doesn’t have those rights..putting his hands on her, & getting away with it. putting his hands on his wife..makes him a lowlife coward & that would never solve the relationship.
