That episode was sooo great! And we finally got to know a little bit more about Jay's past in the military and the injuries he got. I hope one day they'll dig into it even more and maybe explore the PTSD he might still have

@@stephenwilliams8882 I think it was his war injuries. He hasn't been on the job long enough to have such many and bad injuries. Plus he was involved in a bombing in the war so the laceration on the skull, the broken fingers and ribs must have been from that incident.

Jay and Hailey make such a great team. I like the way he is always trying to help and protect people. But his compassion could be dangerous in his line of work. The way he wanted to help Michelle but they needed to catch her husband in the act. I love the way Hailey has to calm Jay down and get him to see the bigger picture. Their chemistry is crazy.

Anybody else notice that in recent seasons (especially this one), unless they involve Voight or Atwater/Burgess (the latter being pretty infrequent these days), male/female team-ups of Intelligence members almost always cater to ship tease? I still remember Voight in Season 1 or 2 famously saying "I don't tolerate in-house romance." Hell, because of all this ship tease, there are still a fair amount of team-ups we've never really seen or even characters we barely ever see interact. Atwater and Upton are literally The Friends Who Never Hang, for example.

I can't understand why they say "george" and "henry" after their numbers. I assume they're going for a phonetic callsign but they never say the correct ones. "Golf" and "hotel" are the correct ones for G and H

It's an ID, 5021 is their unit code and then the names are different for each member of the unit so Hailey says: 5021 Henry and dispatch knows it's her.
