Love the RE is it east lancs bodywork looks great ,why did that guy in the glasses start to jump in front of the camera when you was filming the national no wonder we get stick about our hobby mate crazy ,all the best Mark 😊😊

I love the RE they are very tuneful. That deep throated roar. Can't beat it. The guy was just having a laugh, I normally edit it out but didn't have much footage to work with. With the weather being so bad my camera was having issues.

Cheers, I was happy to support the event . Am sure it would have been busier if the weather had been better. My poor camera got a soaking & kept steaming up

Halton Transport invested in their fleet post deregulation, providing the only new buses in the Liverpool area in the early 1990s. The demise of Crosville boosted the fleet as and on the then of the millennium had a largely low floor fleet of Dennis Dart SLFs. But after 2010 things started to go downhill for Halton. The last new buses came in 2012. The sad irony is their failure came in early 2020, and this was BEFORE the COVID 19 pandemic which badly affected bus operators and would have sealed the lid on Haltons coffin RIP Widnes Corporation Transport and Halton Borough Transport, (1909-2020).

There were a few body builders that bodied mostly single deck buses like that. St Helens & Widnes buying some. They did have roof vents like on coach bodywork. Am. Not a big fan to be honest. Their OK in winter but like greenhouses in summer

The Marshalls of the 90s were truly dreadful to drive. Delayed handbrake release, noisy and Consent rattling. Not fit for a chicken coup

Not a fan then. Where they always that bad or was it down to poor maintenance and even poorer pot hole riddled roads
