Using the pliers to stabilize the coax during soldering is a nice touch. I'll have to remember that one.

A couple of points. Don't ever do this anywhere near your radio equipment. The short lengths of cut off braid can find their way into equipment via ventilation holes and cause shorts of the circuit boards. It REALLY spoils your day. Instead of a soldering iron, if you have a heat gun with a small nozzle that can work better to solder the pin. Nicely done Mike!

I brought same plug can't remember where from came in the sealed packet it was no washer I didn't like it. I get all my different plugs from m0mat very good quality with washer.
