That's not completely true, a lot of those hostages lived in the kibbutz living very ordinary lives not in the military or just young people going to a party who had everyday jobs and also friends visiting from overseas so not sure how you worked that one out? Do you have evidence?

stupid, the Israelis massacred were babies, children, women, old people, foreigners, muslims, christians, druze. the hostages are also civilians, babies, children, old people, and soldiers, young women who had no guns, but have been tortured , raped , made into slaves for over a year.
