Ingredients:
▢1.5 pounds lean ground beef
▢1/2 cup panko
▢1 package Lipton onion soup and dip mix
▢1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
▢1 teaspoon pepper
▢1/4 cup butter
▢1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
▢1 large onion thinly sliced
▢2 tablespoons flour or cornstarch for gluten-free
▢1 1/2 cups beef broth
▢fresh parsley optional
Instructions:
1. Blend the hamburger patty mixture. In a mixing bowl using clean hands, combine the ground beef, panko, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Form into 4 patties, pushing down in the center for even cooking.
2. Cook the hamburger patties. Add the hamburger patties and the butter to the skillet. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the hamburger patties to a clean plate and set aside.
3. Sautee the vegetables and make the gravy. Add the onions and mushrooms to the same skillet. Sautee until the onions are translucent. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly add the broth, stirring until thickened. Add the hamburger patties back to the pan.
4. Serve. Serve hot garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
