I got rid with no regrets at all of my chest frezeer having problems 25 years ago for a Liebherr (quality German Brand) upright 7 drawer frost freezer and in all these years I had ZERO PROBLEMS...and enjoyed the drawers easy and perfect organization that you can get .... do Just normal maintenance with manual defrost when ice build up half /one inch once 6/12 months and it will last trouble free at least 30 years..... The upright frost free freezer have a much more complicated defrost sistem with sensors/heater ant timers that can have problems after 4/6 years.. and the electricity bills are higher...). My only suggestion is to have 2/3 freezer themometers (one on the top drawer, one in the middle and one in the bottom drawer), so you can set the termostat on the top of the freeze (1 to 7) at the correct temperature required .... One final consideration about the upright freezers...THE ONES in the market WITHOUT DRAWERS in 2024 ARE A NON SENSE . A LOT OF ENERGY WAISTED EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE DOOR !!!!

Thanks for posting! As said before, dimensions of the drawers would be great. Also, detailing the motor spec's Volts and Amps would be nice from the back of the unit. Do you have it on a separate circuit in the basement or with everything else that is powered? Thanks again for doing this review! :)

In the video when you removed the top drawer, it looked like there’s an actual wire shelf underneath it, is that true/correct? I do not need all of the drawers and would like a couple shelves so I’m wondering if I could remove a couple drawers to have the shelves that I’d like

Does your compressor make noise? I bought the same one from Costco but the compressor on it makes NO noise but the freezer is working. I’m just curious. Thanks

We just bought this freezer but the panel in back is missing. where the compressor is and the cord comes out from lower back side. There are screw holes also so is it missing or is it ok without the panel?

Yes it is. Just bought one yesterday and it has a sticker on it that says it is garge ready. It can withstand 0 degrees to 110 degrees.

I didn’t notice that with mine but perhaps it won’t be hot on the outside once the freezer has reached operating interior temperature and equilibriated.

I just bought one at Costco a week ago. For Manual Defrost, I don't remember if it has any instructions for that, so how do I perform Manual Defrost: Do I take everything out and have the door open, and put all the foods back into the Freezer after it is Defrosted?

Unplug it, I use hot boiling water (about 2cups) and pour around the freezer. Ice will melt in seconds. Wipe down (towels on floor). You are done. Put food back in freezer😊
