@@chesoriadomingo7068 it has stickers with german words on it. At the rear it says "Vorsicht" (Attention) for example - The german words describing the functions of that driver's seat made me think someone put a german seat in there for comfort or something, but the more I look closely the more I'm getting confused. It is some kind of re-import?

The trick to jumping a dead battery is attach positive to positive. Negative to a ground spot on the engine. This way the dead battery has less effect on the jump battery with drawing current away from starting. As a proud member of the 3701 BMT Squadron keep up the good work guys.

Also guys that tractor has two batteries. I believe it’s two twelve volt. The other one is on the other side under the step by the lower cab widow. Older ones use two six volt in series to make a twelve system. By this model they put two twelve in series so it’s still a twelve system. They basically did this to aid starting in colder regions

If the man just wants to get the tractor back to the farm you can un bolt the tire nock the tire of the rim then get a very large patch and put on the in side of the tire where the slice is then get a tube and put in the tire and put every thing back together and air up the tire.

What that is, Wiley, I a transfer case. It's ridgedly attaches to the frame of that tractor so that it could operate the front differential. Yes, there's usually a high and low range in them. Whenever the driver is on a road, he would put it in high range so he could get to the next place quicker than he would when in low range.
@drive42
@drive42 10 ай бұрын
That housing Hank was looking at was the MFWD clutch housing. Inside is a spring applied/oil released clutch that engages the Mechanical Front Wheel Drive axle. The extra mechanism on the side is the parking brake apparatus for European applications. There is no transfer case on any of these tractors. It is very important that the front and rear tire sizes are the correct size because there is NO differential between the front and rear axle. Deere can tell the customer what size front tire goes with what size rear tire, and if they are mismatched SERIOUS, EXPENSIVE damage will result.
