It's $15 for a 30 pack here, and it's one of the best macro lagers. The only other beer that cheap here is Rolling Rock and Hamm's is head and shoulders above that. A favorite of my friends and I in our young drinking days. I still enjoy them, and love the blue retro cans they're still doing.

Well said Joe. I love both craft beers and cheap beers. Nothing wrong with drinking what those generations before us drank. I have found memories as a kid of my dad drining tall buds and letting me have a sip. Thought it was the coolest thing in the world back then and I feel the same way today at 36. Cheers.

And your absolutely right a lot of These people that give these beers a hard time forget the days when these were the only beers there was when I was growing up. There was no such thing as a sour. Or really IPAs, it was either these or you drank soda or water.

well said as well. Budweiser has really changed over the years. My favorite beer used to be Busch but that had radically changed as well. PBR and Hamm's are the only beers left that taste like the beer i drank 20 years ago.

I was always a Coors light drinker growing up and it always tasted the same to me. I’ve since done a bunch of blind beer stuff and am now a Miller Lite drinker 😂🍻. I loves me some Hamms, PBR and Banquet, too 🍻

I recently discovered this Beer at our local grocery store. This past summer and I must say it's not bad. And i love the 1960s esthetic that they went with the can design Although it's a bummer because in Texas we only get the 6 pack of 16 oz cans of they sold the 12 packs. I definitely would buy this A lot more

I really like this one. However, got a 30 rack of the golden draft version, which I assume is akin to MGD vs my macro go-to of High Life. I remember it being awful although that was 20+ years ago. Would love to see a review of it!

Enjoying the reviews on the common beer a lot. Nothing wrong with drinking some of the macros. I used to drink Schlitz when I could find it in college. Thought it was much better than Budweiser, Coors etc. Cheers Joe!

Being from a hard working, low paid, labor intensive family none of the beers in the Kelvinator fridge was the cache, private reserved brews that taste like orange, lemon, lemonade, strawberries or any of that crap the "men" drink today. Guess those craft beers are delivered in armored cars. Any way, the beers of Regal Pale (San Francisco), Brew 102 (Los Angeles), Eastside Old Tap Lager (?🤔) were in our fridge with the famous "church key" hanging from a nail string on the wall. So even though eventually pop graduated to Coors, he'd been a fan of Burgermeister. Schlitz, Falstaff, PBR and Miller's High Life (The Champagne of Bottled beers). When I became of age I gravitated to the solid American beers of the previous generations. I want beer to taste like beer. No fruity flavors thank you. Cold, refreshing beer - Summer "lawnmower - beer. Let the latest generations have their caviar beers. I prefer Hamm's. PBR and when feeling special ... San Miguel. While in Vietnam as a young Marine when we were back on stand down, warm Carling Black Label was the available brew and no complaints. Then or now. All the best, we"ll go with our "cheap" beers and be happy.

I'm not familiar with this brand. In high school, we would get Home beer, from Home Liquor's $4.99 for a case. I'm not a fan of Budweiser, but when I come off the golf course, on a hot day, a pint of Bud hits the spot.

@@jsenigaglia Thanks for the tip. There are only 2 local options but the nearest one is about 5 miles away. I paid $17 out the door for 24 so not as good a deal as you. I just poured my second and like you say, "it tastes like beer" and "it isn't bad". The only cheap beer I can compare it to is PBR and I agree this one is less sweet which is my preference. I am missing the old can art and the bear.
