Great demo. Thanks Jamie. I bought this last week, so don’t need a code. Only just trying it out, so excellent timing. I agree with you about the limitations on the fx being global. It would be nice to be able to apply individually.
@JamieMallender3 жыл бұрын
It would be Mick yes, but with the multi-bus outs, we can add separate fx to individual tracks so I’m not too upset - maybe in a future update? We’ll see. :)

Thanks for the most thoroughful investigation in Hammerhead, Jamie! Special thanks for some very deep&rare ways of using it. Let me make one correction: my drumming practice says that flam is when a quiet note is playing just before the main note (you've said after). I want Hammerhead, now for sure!)) Cheers, Piotr
@JamieMallender3 жыл бұрын
This is correct. In drum machines though, it is kind of flipped as the extra note can’t be put in front of the note. But you’re absolutely right. Thank you very much for watching young man. 🙂

one thing .. if you use „multiout“ - you can pull in Hammerhead all the volumes down .. the sounds will be send to the multiout-channels anyway .. and the master out will be silenced then .. aaaand .. Bram Bos stated in the first update, that with this new „routing“ you can use the multiouts as effect sends .. or do some „NY - style parallel compression“ .. 🤔 very interesting .. 🥳

Needs more cowbell!! But seriously, this one has had me really curious about it. I want Hammerhead!... because I'm still looking for the drum app that will become my go-to drum machine. I always do songs bass-ackwards, adding drums after the bassline and I think it's because I am just not in love yet with any of the drum machines I have. Very nice walk-through! Thank you!

@@JamieMallender Yeah, I’m kind of a Luddite when it comes to musical creativity, especially rhythmical stuff: I get stifled by too much technical stuff. @JamieMallender3 жыл бұрын
Ok Greg, well a quick example then. If you have a few guitars or a few synths or a few backing vocals or a drum kit - you can pan each of these things to form a stereo picture and then send them all to a group track. So imagine, I have 8 backing vocals, 4 guitars, 3 synths and a drum kit comprising of 8 sounds + bass + lead vocal. I could make a few groups there and then get a rough mix very quickly. It’s very handy when your track is getting busy.
