Awesome car! I've got access to a track spec 3 door edition 30 golf with a similar spec, except running the TTE480+ hybrid (ideally would prefer the Venom 450 but car was bought with this setup already) and is a DSG version. Made 458bhp and 452lb-ft fully forged, no meth injection, with all the work done by the previous owner at Awesome GTI. That car shifts really well so know the capabilities of this K1 too well. Was previously on PS4 tyres but now switching to AR1s to take full advantage of the power. Done 2 trackdays so far in it as well Blyton Park and Donington last month. Will be good to meet this K1 on a trackday one day, will be a nice battle 👍

It does actually work very well. It helps massively with heat soak in the engine bay and it is used in motorsport aswell so it clearly does work

​@@swansmeister Google what exactly? I have used DEI Reflective tape on my intake before and the results spoke for themselves. Much better intake temps and way less heat soak. Have you actually used any decent reflective gold tape before or are you just going off what you have read on the internet?
