Beautiful pond in Hampstead Heath at the highest point in London. Beautiful green space and gardens!! What beautiful area. I love the fairy tail look of the wildish look of the shrubbery and woodland area to look almost overgrown. Looks almost untouched and a wonderful place for a picnic. Ohhh I can just smell that wonderful Wisteria on the Pergola. Gorgeous. This lovely area reminds me of something out of a Jane Austin book. I think of Sense and Sensibility looking at this. I enjoyed the zoo animals area and the aviary. It is so nice that as an adult you can still enjoy your childhood memories here with your grandparents. And the squirrel. What a friendly little fellow. He also may have been looking for a tid-bit. LOL I love the soft serene lake with all the gorgeous trees flowing over it. Loved this one.

I discovered it accidentaly on google maps and decided to visit, loved it, all the plants and columns covered in vines, not crowded and also met cool black cat which followed me around the garden

It is such a lovely and undiscovered place and Google maps is probably the best way to discover it 👍😀

I learnt a lot about Hampstead Heath on my Sunday treat. I didn't know 😕 it was the highest and biggest Green area. The main part I know is the amazing 👏😍 views into the London and the house 🏠 I can't remember the name of but was in Notting Hill. I didn't know about the pergola. I wonder 🤔😏 how much the 🏘️ cost. I wasn't aware of Golder Greens park but it looks beautiful. You should have something like 🥜 for the squirrel! In my personal experience chipmunks 🐿 are tamer. All of this is making me so homesick. Lovely 😍 video. I can't imagine the smell of all the flowers.

Hi Lesley, yes that house is there and it's Kenwood House which we went to last Christmas for the lights, beautiful. I know the pergola is beautiful. Good idea re the nuts as I keep bumping into the squirrels all over London and they are all just so tame. have a great week and thanks for the comments and emojis which make me smile :) (which I don't have when on PC!)

I've just discovered this channel yesterday and am enjoying its content. The pergola in this video reminds me a little of what I would imagine Queen Victoria's husband, Albert would have built back in the day. I THINK he built a museum of some type that had exhibits in it from all over the world. I believe it was supposed to be a project that was way ahead of its time as people didn't get a chance to see the unique things of the world unless they were insanely rich and had the means to travel.

Hi there and thanks so much for joining us. Yes I know what you mean it has that Royal feel. I think you are referring to the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) if so we have a video on that and also you might like to see the Prince Albert inspired Italian Water Gardens, between Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens - I've put the links below for you: V & A Museum - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJiQaIGIe8-nrK8 Italian Water Gardens - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIfGiYZ9pM6GhKM Great to have you here & thanks :)

If, somehow, you could dissect the British soul, you'd find a photo memory, or a splice of a green space like this in one of it's sacred crevices. Somehow, the lay out of this place, the tone and pacing it provokes is ubiquitous to British spirit - even within the roughest , least "conscious" citizen. I think it has something to do with reverence. Beautiful park, Steve. I was to Hampstead, but never strolled through there.
