I'm amazed Lindholm even came back this series. Missing him definitely didn't help the Bruins (even though I don't think he would've necessarily made a difference with how relentless the Canes were the entire series).

I love playoff hockey and this is probably the biggest hit so far and I’d love to continue to watch talented hockey, regardless of who it is I never wanna see someone get injured like this. Hope he recovers well. Hope we see more hits going forward that shake the building as well.

Definitely a concussion there, trying to stand up and then practically flopped back down to the ice again. Let's hope he won't be out for too long a recovery.

Guys from any team w/ Cup ambitions HAVE to stand up for their downed teammate on a massive hit - even if clean. Teams that don't never go far b/c they don't have the camaraderie needed for guys to be be willing to 'pay the price' to make tough plays if they don't feel their teammates have their back. It's the 'unwritten code' of hockey.

@@alexbenhard you can hit a guy in the head as long as it's not the primary point of contact, which it wasn't here. This was a textbook clean hit: directly through the chest, didn't leave the ice, kept his elbow tucked. Svech might have hit the guy's chin but he didn't target the head. Learn the rules if you want to complain about checks. And watch the video, the rules specialist on the broadcast team even explained why it was a clean hit.

I love Hampy, I was sad to see him leave, but I couldn't agree more with you. There's no reason Svechnikov should have been penalized. If anything Boston should have had 4 minutes of penalties, 2 for instigator and 2 for roughing

Look it’s clean and it’s the playoffs but the league has got to start doing something to make it a bit safer. Defenseless player rule in nfl a great starting point. These guys have families and are going to have mushy brains in their 50s, have some perspective hear out both sides.

i do agree with you, NHL could do more for the players safety. Watching this and see peoples comments made me sick. But at the same time. First rule of hockey - Keep your head up. It was nothing wrong with the hit.

cause his head was down thats why its said to keep your head up, puck is in play, svech barely had speed going into it, one of the cleanest hardest hit in recent history. watch some womens hockey if youd like to watch non contact hockey. also comparing it to shieffles hit is just plain stupid🤣

This was pandemonium all the Bruins players that was on the ice was Jumping my guy Andrei Svechnikov, Big-Shout-out, to, Andrei Svechnikov, he ain't gonna hold you up, and he gets alot of respect from the NHL from Previous fights he had.🏒🥅🔥
