Bartholomew Esperanza No I don’t think so, Zadorov went for the hit and if you watch as Kotkaniemi goes up against the boards Zadorov attempts to adjust because he came in with too much momentum and ends up taking his feet out from under him. I have watched the Av’s for years now, Zadorov doesn’t make dirty plays like that, in my opinion it was a awkward hit that ended up with Kotkaniemi going head over heels.

2:57 BIGGEST missed call in the 2019-2020 thus far! That is textbook ruling of a slew foot and the player was injured, yet no call!! Kotkaniemi was out for 10+ games! Hit a player in a vulnerable position, late hit/no attempt to play the puck, TEXTBOOK SLEWFOOT, and JK was forced to land head first! Zadorov has suspension history so this SHOULD have been looked at for a mutiple game suspension, yet nothing?! Buut 2018 Paul Byron (5'9" 160lb) hits a guy that's 6'2"+ over 200lb with a clean point of contact, gets suspended with a 18,000$ fine with ZERO suspension history!? F£$king BULLSH!T The only reason the paul byron hit got such a heavy suspension was because the Florida organization made a HUGE sick out it! Player safety organization is a JOKE!!!

Not funny at all. He clearly had a concussion, and falling back and smashing his head on the ice would have made it even worse. I kinda feel like NHL players have the best safety protocols. Like, the sport is obviously the most dangerous out of all the really popular American ones, but the players are probably the safest when you consider that--the culture around it seems good, and concussion protocols also seem good--not like the NHL that seemed to think pretending that concussions didn't exist would be helpful. Not saying it's perfect by any means, but it seems better than most, especially considering the nature of the game. You see it at like 4:43. The lightening players obviously want to win, but they don't want the other guy to fucking die...
