Hello from the USA!.....The 1970 Opel Kadett B "LS" Fastback sedan, was my first car purchased in 1971, gently used by one previous owner. In the USA, they were often imported by Buick dealerships. Mine had a factory finish in metallic blue paint, with a black interior. It was my car to use when I went off to college. I lived in Cleveland, Ohio (usa), a city that heavily relies on rock salt, to control road ice. That and industrial air pollution, caused the door hinges, locks & floor boards to rust away by 1980. Before I sold it, I had a new floor boards installed. A new owner who had welding skills bought it. It drove like a champ and the engine was in great condition. (The engine purred) I loved that car.

Yipee! Finally a video with authenticity. Most of these scammers find a car in the woods, parked for years and just drive off....with minimum repair. My uncle in Sverige also had his private junkyard in the 90s somewhere in the forests west of Kristinehamn 🙂 When I was a teen this was heaven for me. One year he allowed me to take all the brandings (like the "Opel Kadett" plaque) ... this was great and the brandings of the cars (more than 30) were on my wall in my childrens-room for years :-) Sorry for bad english...

Loved it. I drive a 1961 Opel Rekord I rescued out of a barn in 2013. Restored it and I love driving it around during summer. Sadly here in Austria/Germany we don't have these kinds of junkyards anymore as they are bad for the environment so every car just gets scrapped or sold of to eastersn block. I'd love to go junkyard diving but sadly it is not possible where I live.

Good morning from Italy! I have always followed the few programs on TV that described the restoration of cars, but honestly, I had never seen something like this! After the initial overview of the car, it was a given to me that you would transport it to the shop! I never thought that I would be able to revive this magnificent car on the spot and even make it run towards the "operating room"! You have revived a wonderful car that in anyone's eyes could only have been an unsalvageable piece of junk! All my respect for your professionalism ! I just discovered this fantastic channel and the first thing I feel like saying is that I find that the subscribers in my opinion are still few! It's true that car restoration is a rather niche topic, but I think you will easily exceed 100,000!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful work! Art can be expressed in many ways, and for this reason for me, in addition to being a great professional, you are also a true artist! 👍👍👍💯💥
