It's the Tinang Philippines/USAGM transmitter site. Some points: in my recent testing of the Raddy 919 I detected some bleed through of strong local AM and/or FM signals, especially in the 11mHz range. So, this is an issue though it may not be a major one. Another annoyance, besides the 15+ minutes scan time, is that memories show up first as CH and you have to wait for the actual frequency to appear. They should update the firmware to offer an option that shows the frequency with the CH number subordinated.

@dxace1 thanks for info. I agree about CH delay and I still can't get it to scan the memories.

Although the muting is a little annoying while scanning the bands I really love these radios. I just scan s-l-o-w-ww😂

I agree. Scan slowly.

hello Tom what does it mean when the numbers keep changing on the right side of the radio?
@hamrad8816 күн бұрын
Those numbers are the SNR (Siginal to Noise Ratio) and the RSSI (Received Signal Strenght Indictor).

I am not sure if you did ? but when scan on SW make sure you are in AM mode not SSB It should minimize the amount of channels saved

Yes, I always use AM mode during scans. Unless I make a mistake which is happening a lot lately. LOOL
